Just seen a woman wearing a red boob tube with a grubby white strapped bra. If she can’t find a strapless bra that fits, why buy and wear boop tubes or any other clothing that shows off bra straps. Not a good look.

Why do women think it’s ok to wear clothes like this

I had a colleague who used to turn up to work (corporate style events) sporting this look. She would buy normal tops but then pull them down at either side for an off-the-shoulder bra-exposing look. Interesting approach to workplace fashion at a po-faced conference.

Then I saw the opposite of this yesterday. Woman with a large bust, wearing a dress which was too low cut on the chest and spaghetti straps. Not wearing a bra. She dropped something. On picking up the thing, one of the breasts poked out. 😳

lol did laugh at this as I think the same! I just say to myself there’s an awful lot of people who don’t have mirrors in their homes! Thing is unless you’re very big busted, just some nipple covers will do with a boob tube and if u are very big busted then maybe a boob tube isn’t a good choice?

Not every item of clothing suits everyone

Oh did it now 🙄

What the actual.......? Is this real? Why does it matter to anyone what clothes people wear? What kind of person spends their days judging peoples bodies and clothes. There are some really important things you can channel your energy on, instead of worrying about what some random person looks like.

Tbh I get more offended by the current trend of men walking around topless. When did this become a thing? Yesterday in the warm weather just lots of men with white pasty bodies thinking it okay to have their moobs on display. At the beach whilst sunbathing = fine. At Tesco doing a weekly shop = not fine.

100% this.
At least the woman had both a top on and underwear.
I can abide to see topless men wandering around town.

So let’s get this straight. Although it has absolutely no impact on you, you don’t like it if you can see someone’s bra. So maybe the solution with some tops is not to wear one? Then you don’t like it if someone is not wearing a bra either. As for a minor wardrobe malfunction, you pop it back, nobody died!

Personally, l’m a 36F, but it’s too hot for a bra today and l’m not at work. It’s a free range day. Apologies for any offence caused.

Not a 'good look'? Not your business

KermitTheToad · Today 10:41

Wear a bra, you object. Don't wear a bra , you object! Ladies, how can we please the OP?

dcthatsme · Today 11:12

Not everyone has your impeccable dress sense OP! White bras just don’t wear well. Black or any colour are the way to go.

pointythings · Today 11:21

I would strongly recommend that OP get some hobbies, interests and friends so she can focus on that instead of on judging people.

Itiswhysofew · Today 11:25

Yeah, a bit grubby, but people dress how they like and that's fine.

Lashesandlemonade · Today 11:39

Can't ever imagine caring enough about something like this to make a post discussing it 🤦‍♀️

glitterpaperchain · Today 12:28

OP it's been a couple of days since this incident, just checking you have recovered ok? Are you feeling faint? Sounds like you had quite a shock, if I saw someone's bra strap I think I'd need a week to recover from the trauma!

Maddy70 · Today 12:32

Because it's her choice and I don't feel it necessary to judge what other women want to wear

amymel2016 · Today 12:33

What are you wearing OP? Post a photo and we can all pass comment.

dramalessllama · Today 12:59

You always have the choice to close your eyes, look away, and mind your own business.

Coming back with this suggests you are either a bot, or being deliberately provocative. So bloody boring 🙄

shrunkenhead · Today 13:46

I agree, it's not about decency it's just not a good look to have bra straps on show. If you can't go bra-less then you need a strapless bra with boob tubes and tops with thin straps. It's just not a classy look. I think that's what the OP is getting at.

The trick of keeping white bras white is to hand-wash them separately so they don't go grey like they do if you wash them with other clothes.

Yokodoko · Today 14:14

longlocks It’s not a great look, agreed, but it is her look. You must have soooo much time to absorb this view, that’s not great either. Move on do something more productive & above all, kind.

Yokodoko · Today 14:17

TimeForTeaAndG No wonder I’m single, are you a super duper wife? 😂😂😂

And 3 weeks for sight of knickers.

AlexaStopAlexaNo · Today 15:29

YANBU OP, I’d think this was scruffy if I saw it too.
