Just seen a woman wearing a red boob tube with a grubby white strapped bra. If she can’t find a strapless bra that fits, why buy and wear boop tubes or any other clothing that shows off bra straps. Not a good look.

Why do women think it’s ok to wear clothes like this

I was in a horribly abusive relationship at 18. I’d just had my DD and went straight back to work full time, because he wouldn’t.
My money went straight to his bank account. I had nothing and couldn’t tell anyone,

I owned ONE bra. He wouldn’t give me any of my money to buy more. That ONE bra was a breast feeding one my mum had bought me. I wore that bra with every outfit I owned (which wasn’t many) for about 2 years. Not because I wanted to, not because I thought it looked great, but because I had no choice.

So please, before you get offended by seeing someone’s bra straps….take a moment to think that not everyone has a choice.

Then grow up.

Why do women have to wear bras?

The real answer is that women’s breasts have been sexualised and are treated as a pleasurable source to men.

I grew up in the era when my mother would sew little loops on her clothes so that nobody ever saw her bra strap.

I’ve seen a number of chubby white british men without their tops on today. Matching a bra to a top requires judgement and experience. Getting a t shirt on should be easy enough, but apparently not.
