68 tops might be a lot in a sunny climate but we have cold and seasonal weather which requires layering most of the time. Winter wool jumpers, merino wool jumpers, cardigans, cotton jumpers, v neck jumpers, round neck jumpers, long sleeve jumpers, short sleeve jumpers, polo necks. Then move on to cotton long sleeve tops, plain tops, striped tops, v neck tops, round neck tops, long sleeve, mid sleeve, short sleeve. Then vest tops - round neck, v neck. Then the above tops in various colours. These are only the plain tops. Then add some patterns to help us feel less drab in our grey climate. Then we need trousers - wool trousers, cotton trousers, jeans - dark, mid blue, light blue, cream, white. Barrel trousers, wide trousers, barrel jeans, wide jeans. jeans of varying lengths to wear with different shoe heights, cords, light summer trousers, long summer trousers, shorter length summer trousers. Then skirts and dresses - wool for winter and cotton for summer. Then some co-ords and some smarter clothes for when you have to look smart and a couple of 'statement pieces that make you feel good. Then some occasion clothes for weddings, funerals and various family occasions. A few 'going out' type clothes for meeting friends in restaurants and one or two for pubs and dancing (personally one or two of this category is enough for me as I don't go out dancing anymore). Then loungewear and comfy style clothes for school runs and dog walking. Then coats that go with the above - long coats, short coats, heavy coats, light coats, coats with hoods, coats with collars, pattern coats, and various colours. I've missed loads but it easily adds up.......
