How many people have you slept with?

…and do you lie about it? I’m late 30s, 4 or 5 relationships, most 1-2 years, been married now for 6 years. I’ve slept with around 50 people (I know cos I made a list once!) Only 1 or 2 were ‘true’ one night stands. I know that’s a lot but I refuse to be ashamed of it, I had a lot of fun in my youth. When I was dating before my husband I never admitted it to anyone I was dating. I’d always say less than 10. So how many people have you slept with and do you freely admit it or do you reduce the number a lot if asked by people you’re dating or were dating before if you’re in a relationship? And how do you feel about the number?

I’m actually not totally sure.

i’m older (49) and I genuinely can’t remember some of the teenage ones.

it’s not a high number though.

i was genuinely surprised when I heard some teens actually talking about body count at a coffee shop,

I have no idea what the 'average' is, so I have no idea if my number is high or low.
It's 7. I dont lie about it. My husband was number 7.

I’m 39, and 4. Dh was number 4, we have been together since I was 19. I don’t lie about it.

Dunno around 25 maybe? Ive never really sat down & counted.

I don't discuss it.
Actual number is less than 10 but I wouldn't judge a woman who had slept with more. Or less.
I am married but if for some reason I find myself dating again in future I am not prepared to talk about this as all. It's my private information.

just the one for me, been together nearly 31 years and I have no regrets.

I have been mocked when I have disclosed that my number is 1 🫤 yes just my ex husband! most people I have disclosed this to have been shocked the other way😳

I'm 37, I've slept with 3 people:
1 - My first long-term boyfriend
2 - My now ex-husband
3 - A guy I met through online dating who ghosted me afterwards (I try not to think about that one too much)

Nobody tends to ask me about it, but if they did, I wouldn't lie.

Ex DH was 13 and we split up seven years ago

I've never had a one night stand. The majority have been in relationships of over a year and the rest people I wanted a relationship and it didn't work out! I've only slept with 3 people in the last 20 years

Does your husband know it is is 50?

I’m 49. I was a late(ish) starter but had a fun-filled 20s. I haven’t counted but I reckon 25-30. Not ashamed. There were only 2 one night stands that I regretted at the time.

Four. Two one night stands, one serious relationship and my DH, married for 36 years now. I’m 65.

I’m 36, I was with my ex husband for 10 years, been with my current partner for 6. And then other people before/in between those two!

I was raped at 16 and went off the rails, I was good for nothing except being used so over 100.

My kids asked me this at the weekend and i burst out laughing! They know I'm a terrible liar but I honestly can't remember! I said "dunno"!
Funny eniugh, the only regrets I have is their dad!. I've had a great time. Crazy teens, hilarious 20's, sedate (ish) 30's , back to crazy 40's and now celibate 50's.

At this stage I don't care if I never have a shag again!

I'm 40 and it's about 35 for me but I'm not entirely sure. I've been with my husband for 12 years but was single/in short term relationships for most of my twenties.
No partner has ever asked me my body count but I definitely slept with too many people in the same friendship groups which did get awkward sometimes.

Mine is low, but I met DH at a young age and we were lucky enough to just never break up. I've lived vicariously swiping through my single friend's tinders instead🤣 No judgement from me about anyone's body count.

Loads. About 75. I would never lie!

Does your Husband know?

Six. Three ex boyfriends, two ONSs, then only DH for the last 29 years.
