AIBU to think bacon sandwich lunch is not greedy?

2 small slices of bread (from a 400g loaf)
3 rashers of bacon
1 small tomato
a slice of cheese.

a family member says it’s greedy and fattening. For breakfast I had 2 weetabix and have had nothing inbetween.

It’s a perfectly normal lunch. I’d probably need some fruit/ yoghurt or a biscuit later on to get me through to tea.

I was going to say it's a perfectly normal lunch, but you put cheese in it, which is mental.

Who said that? Was it a one off? It sounds like the person is both extremely rude and suffering from disordered eating at the very least.

Not that it's an excuse. Even in the throes of life threatening anorexia I'd never have dreamt of calling other people's food greedy or fattening.

It's a perfectly normal meal as you know. I suggest you tell this person you don't want to hear their opinions on your choice of meals and that you're surprised she doesn't realise how odd and rude she sounds saying such things?

If u cook with frylight and take all the visible fat off it's not loaded with calories lol even adding a cheese slice isn't that bad as long as your counting calories 😂

That's a normal lunch in my opinion.
I often get a supermarket meal deal for lunch and a BLT sandwich is a normal and popular sandwich.
I sometimes have (shock horror) a bag of crisps as the snack option.

Well she hasn't said she's eating it every day and for all her other meals as well. Nor has she divulged her daily calorie needs. People want to stop banging on about fat the minute a woman eats something nice.

Anything can be eaten, the key is moderation. I regularly eat cheese as part of a balanced diet.
