Horrible news that ambulances run by a Jewish charity have been set on fire in Golders Green today.

AIBU to feel it's got to to with the rise in anti Jewish hate since the allowance of horrible slogans on the weekly marches and in everyday society? What on earth makes people commit such a horrible attack.

Again, this isn't a dig at any group. As I have said already, this is true multiculturalism, it doesn't really work. I am so sorry for everyone involved. My point was simply that we shouldn't really be surprised when conflict on foreign soil inspires action here. I pray for peace

I despair at the amount of religious hate being kicked up by the right and the reform elk- I know Muslims are getting the brunt of this, but it feels all this focus on 'we are a Christian country' is similarly harming our relations with all other faiths in our community and it makes me worry where it is going. It feels like they are legitimising religious intolerance in a suddenly quite loud and public way.

The Louis Theroux Manosphere documentary was eye opening to the fact that hateful anti-semitism rumours of Jewish people running the world in some shadowy conspiracy theory way was still being actively circulated.

I don't understand how people walk around with so much poisonous hate in their hearts for strangers and it feels like it is spreading, which is terrifying.

I think the rise in anti-Jewish hate is probably due to the actions of the government/military of Israel throughout the conflict with Palestine. Of course it is misplaced. It isn’t the fault of Jewish people and they are not to blame for the actions of the government/military in Israel.

This is where you are completely wrong. Over 50% of Jewish Israelis are not white. They are Middle Eastern and North African coming from Iran Iraq Morocco afganistan Algeria Syria Lebanon the Yemen and Ethiopia. They mainly came because they were thrown out of those countries

The Jews conquered Israel about 4500 years ago, long long before the ancestors of any other existing group. They even wrote a book about it. It’s quite a popular book so you might have heard of it.

I am surprised, because I would imagine that intelligent people would separate a Jewish run charity from a war in the ME, but obviously some people aren't capable of that.

Its sickening. It’s run by Jewish volunteers but it’s for anyone local. It’s an amazing service esp as NHS ambulances are so slow.
