Ambulances Set on Fire in Suspected Anti Jewish Attack

Horrible news that ambulances run by a Jewish charity have been set on fire in Golders Green today.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cwyj1p49gdpo

AIBU to feel it's got to to with the rise in anti Jewish hate since the allowance of horrible slogans on the weekly marches and in everyday society? What on earth makes people commit such a horrible attack.

I'm 100% with the Jewish community and pray for peace.

Could it be a cheapo imported version of St. Patrick wearing the wrong outfit?
50p is a done deal.

And more seriously.

The Manchester arena bombing was mentioned upthread. I'm grateful to Hatzolah for their support, without question as to faith, to victims and families that dreadful day.

St Patrick will do.
Also, very good point about Hatzola. 🙏

British Nationals pwahahaha - probably choir boys again.

<awaits poster claiming that the BBC is in the pay of Mossad>

Because, you know, it was a random attack, false flag, whatever, not a dangerous display of raging antisemitism.

From what I've heard, there were four guys (obviously my assumption is Mossad agents because what are the chances of it being an antisemitic attack? It might look, sound and walk like a duck but we obviously all know it's much more likely to be an extinct velociraptor) lurking in the area during the weekend. After the attack someone (possibly a top tier rabbi?! Who knows!) reported having seen these lurkers outside the synagogue during the weekend and that helped lead to the two arrests yesterday.

Or maybe the top tier rabbis were all in on it. Again, who knows!

Anyway, hopefully those posters have all given up their defence and support of antisemitism now. It is pretty tiresome.

It’s sad how many actually think like this… and twist themselves up to think they are the good person

It's genuinely terrifying. And they don't even realise what they're doing! They don't realise they're being antisemitic because that's how normalised it all is. I'm horrified that this is what my children will one day have to learn to deal with, just like I did. I really wanted better for them.

Top tier rabbi 😂🤪😂
I just can’t 😂😂😂

Unfortunately, it's become normalised. Chanting, placards, graffiti, stickers, badges, slogans...the venom just got whipped up.
I read about someone who was at Glasto when the "Death to the IDF" chants began and he said it was like being at a fascist rally.

And where did you hear that I wonder? What credible news source? It is staggering people are this easily manipulated.

It’s on Tik Tok innit??? Luckily more intelligent people are coming round to the idea of how the West is being manipulated via social media (and some MSM) to believe utter lies that fly in the face of core values. Just leaves some useful idiots who will believe black is white if they thought it would make them look on trend.

And all the people who have been normalising it either genuinely don't understand what they've been doing and won't believe it when they're told, or have been doing it deliberately because they are downright wicked in their behaviour.

And they come on threads like this with comments like 'false flag'. They are a massive part of the problem.

I think mental illness often plays a part as well. Some people fixate on Israel, and have delusions related to Jews. Unfortunately, they now have a platform for this on social media.

A certain unpleasant doctor has just been arrested again for breaking bail conditions by supporting a terrorist organisation. The video her own family posted implies she is mentally unwell, but it may be an act of course. She has raised a huge amount via crowdfunders for herself.

The fact that 'her own family implied 'she is mentally unwell' is disgusting. I know many mentally unwell people among my family and friends and none of them would be as antisemitic as that particular doctor is. No excuse. As for the crowd funders - they are just as bad.

ScarlettOYara · 26/03/2026 15:59

Mental health problems don't necessarily make a person bigoted and racist. Those are behaviours and attitudes which can be changed. It's like that doctor from Sheffield who posted all the antisemitic and misogynistic comments on social media: he'd just developed those prejudices. He was well aware of what he was doing.

No excuse at all, I agree. The mental health does mean that they go from racist to crazy conspiracy theories: no mentally sound person could believe what they are saying.

It's a bit like a collective delusion with their followers.

Here you go again, @BlueJuniper94 ..."it seems a little fishy".
What's fishy? Are all terrorist attacks fishy, or just this one. Oh and "flying monkeys"? Maybe just posters who took exception to your accusations against Jews.

SunnyAfternoonToday · 27/03/2026 10:09

Was about to post the same @ScarlettOYara

Any theory is speculation against a group

What you claimed was offensive. That's why you got a strong reaction.
Did you think that the Manchester Arena attacks were a "false flag" or "done for insurance"?
Perhaps you don't realise that accusations of greed, conspiracy and dishonesty against Jewish people as a group are well known antisemitic tropes.

You keep going on about Manchester Arena - the attacks were fundamentally different in their nature. Mass casualties were the direct aim. Nobody was hurt here.

I'm not "going on" about it. Deal with the argument, not the poster.
It's lucky no-one was hurt.
