To be heartbroken with disappointment at purdy and figg

I've had a rubbish couple of weeks. I treated myself to Purdy and Figg because the nice adverts made me think my house would smell amazing. I'm not usually gullible but I love my house and thought the special smells must be expensive for a reason.

Well, I've been making my family sniff the mantle and window sills for a week now and everyone thinks I'm making up that I put expensive pretty bottle smell on them. You can smell it whilst the spray is coming out and then it's gone next time you are in the room.

AIBU to throw a tantrum that I thought it might last at least a day.

Just get some nice essential oils and an oil burner

Where are you checking stock @thenightsky ? They sell this in Sainsbury's, Tesco etc.

It was Amazon. I've since found it in Waitrose where it was reduced in price, which is nice.

I fell for the marketing.

Total waste of money.

Literally the instructions tell you to fill the bottle with tap water and add a few drops of oil. There is no detergent; nothing. And the smell lasts a micro second.

I was sucked in too and can’t stand it ! It makes my eyes sore . The cloths are good though. !

I believed the hype but didn't get round to orderinng. Then came the its a waste of money reviews. Sounds like it's a bit of a scam.
