Ice agent shoots a woman in the face part 3

1000 replies

Moontan · 09/01/2026 15:35

Donald Trump has now said its okay to murder a woman. Because they are doing it for people's 'safety'

It is interesting how far humans will let themselves be abused by bad people.

I was watching a documentary about jonestown the cult.

Some people left the cult

They said that the leader beat people, raped people, starved people. He made them do physical labour for many hours a day. He demanded that they give him all of their money.

And yet still hundreds of people followed him.

People seem to keep supporting a person and staying there. Rather than saying "maybe i was wrong and this guy is actually a bad person"

Which is fine except the guy was right in her path. You can’t flee by knocking someone down with your SUV.

Although I have my doubts she intended to flee because her wife was left behind outside the car (she had her hand on the door handle as if she was going to hop in the passenger side?)

And the subsequent shots don’t matter. Once you make the decision that your life is in danger, you continue until the threat is neutralized, as they say.

..Why are refusing to acknowledge he deliberately put himself in front of the car?

Continually shooting is defensible when dealing with a terrorist with a gun but not someone where there is clearly no firearm, not displayed or suspected of, their actions before the shooting show the ICE agents did not believe their lives were in danger from her having a gun.

No one casually walks up to the driver with no weapon drawn if they think the suspect has a gun do they.

SpaceRaccoon · 11/01/2026 07:36

..Why are refusing to acknowledge he deliberately put himself in front of the car

Tbf if we could just run someone over fior deliberately getting in front of a car, Just Stop Oil might have had to have a strategic rethink.

Not excusing what happened, but ICE deal with the most dangerous gangs on the planet. They are going to be in a state of high alert so should be left to get on with their important work.

Ih high alert means shooting randomers dead in tbe atreet on the slightest provocation, don't you think they might need a teeny bit more training or better selection processes?

MsJinks · 11/01/2026 07:41

RingoJuice · 11/01/2026 05:52

You will find we have a robust concept of self defense. You are allowed to shoot someone who is trying to run you over.

As has been said multiple times - you are not allowed if there is alternative defence, including move out of the way.
If he was in fear of his life then shooting also makes it more dangerous anyway, and obviously she can’t have been directly driving at him as her car didn’t hit him head on.
He wasn’t in fear of his life when shooting from the side the shots 2 and 3.

This too has been said before - neutralising a threat is for the military. Police use least force necessary to subdue an arrestee.
He wanted her dead, only he knows why really, maybe PTSD came into it - maybe, as it strikes me he was angry that he slipped/she talked back, and he had a gun so neutralise the ‘fucking bitch’.
However, he should be able to, allowed to (and made to) provide his reasoning to a court and let the judge/jury decide - and the rest of us understand.
I do think the public should know his ‘why’ and how far it fits into ICE ok behaviour or not legally - despite Trump/Vance exonerating it all that’s no use without full info of what they are exonerating. Trump’s blatant lie of the agent being lucky to be alive is not useful.

Actually, some US States did enact laws allowing drivers to run over protestors on roads.

Floridians Can Now Run Over Protesters After DeSantis' Approval | Miami New Times

And before anyone says DeSantis was wrong here, I know.

However, as of 2021, 16 US States have introduced laws to protect drivers who run over "rioters"

16 State Legislatures Introduce Bills to Protect Drivers Who Hit Road-Blocking Rioters | Headline USA

I say "rioters" because Repub lawmakers are rather flexible on how that is defined. White supremacists doing tiki torch marches being peaceful, someone hold a BLM banner being a "rioter".

No, no it doesn't. Fuck me, we lose one poster repeating this bollocks and gain another.
Sigh.
Are you on shifts or just arrogant enough to not bother to read the multitude of posts discussing the same thing earlier?

Well we could say the same about you and the 'it's murder!!!!!!! she was minding her own business and just trying to drive off to do her shopping' multitude of posts couldn't we?

It's a chat forum, no one does 'shifts'. I would suggest that many people see this for what it is a horrific, preventable incident caused by RG and her gf thinking it was hilarious to obstuct armed officers then act in a way perceived to be putting others in danger.

I think there's good reason hardly anyone is going along with this and "seeing it for what it is" given we all have access to videos which show it for what it is - cold blooded murder of a woman who was sitting observing (not a crime) and then trying to drive away (not a crime).

SheilaFentiman · 11/01/2026 08:54

she was minding her own business and just trying to drive off to do her shopping'

This might have been an early narrative but I haven’t seen anyone say it on this thread nor did I spot it on thread 2. Perhaps on thread 1, I didn’t read that.

Nonetheless - isn’t it better to respond to what posters are saying here and now, than harking back?

why do you think it is completely and utterly just caused by Renee?

i understand the argument but i have seen posters very very firmly on ‘its her fault’ ‘side’, also on the ‘its his fault’ and ‘tragic circumstances’ ‘sides’

but you and a few others seem to think she bears all responsibility… and no responsibility lies with the ‘highly trained’ man with a gun

Teddleshon1 · 11/01/2026 09:09

I’ve just been reading the long and truly horrible list of the criminal illegal immigrants that ICE have arrested during this stint in Minnesota. My god it’s horrific, a catalogue of convicted child rapists, murderers and human and drug traffickers. I think Renee Good’s death was an absolute tragedy but what a cause to devote yourself to.

Yes I don't understand why they don't want rid of these criminals, is it really just because Trump is pushing it and Minnesota is a blue state Confused

Why are you calling it a 'deflection'? These people are putting themselves and others in danger obstructing officials becaue they want to protect criminals. It's absolutely relevant. Their hatred of Trump and ICE egged on by their stupid mayor is the problem.

Why is it "very unwise to mess with armed law enforcement officers"? Is it because they think they can shoot to kill?

Where exactly in the world do you live that this statement is ok?

Edited

Well if you want to test the theory then you could try messing with armed officers at Heathrow Airport and seeing how that works out for you?

Failing that try messing around at a US airport and that should validate your theory.

The deflection list I mean.

Does the USA not have normal cops that deal with crime. Agencies such as the FBI, the ATF, the DEA etc? Or is it just Trumps flying squad of ICE that he ships in, puts up in Hotels, and ships out again, that can solve every crime in about 2 weeks flat ?

Did Ice solve the Ohio pet eaters case, just as a matter of interest?

Teddleshon1 · 11/01/2026 09:30

@RedTagAlan They are dealing with deportation of illegal immigrants who have committed crimes, hence the “I” in ICE.

1dayatatime · 11/01/2026 09:32

Alexandra2001 · 11/01/2026 06:27

Might help to know your own law enforcement policies....

“Firearms shall not be discharged at a moving vehicle unless a person in the vehicle is immediately threatening the officer or another person with deadly force by means other than the vehicle
For the purposes of this Section, the moving vehicle itself shall not presumptively constitute a threat that justifies an officer’s use of deadly force. An officer threatened by an oncoming vehicle shall move out of its path instead of discharging a firearm at it or any of its occupants"

Your own Supreme Court has also stated very similar.

As was seen, killing the driver, can create an even more dangerous situation... this guy placed himself in front of the vehicle, something US Police Officers have done on multiple occasions so they can try and justify shooting the driver... multiple court awards made to families and survivors.

You keep posting misinformation and cannot bring yourself to condemn awful slurs made against her and partner....

So how can this officer "place himself in front of the vehicle" when you previously stated that "there wasn't anyone stood in front of the vehicle"?

Think immigration and customs enforcers tend to enforce immigration issues. Clue's in the name. Or did you think they were named after the 80s singer?

Picking a name at Random. Aldrin Guerrero-Munoz,

Yes, Convicted of murdering his infant son, 20 years ago. Was also convicted of assault on a prison inmate.

Was arrested by ICE, in jail where he is serving a 32 year prison sentence.

Already in jail, already has a deportation order, to be deported after finishing his sentence.

So Ice took him out of Jail, and will deport him to Mexico. Is he escaping his prison sentence because of ICE ? Am I reding this right ? So he is already in Jail, and ICE have taken him out of jail, to protect people ?

He is already in jail, to punish him, AND protect society from him. And ICE have taken him out of jail to be deported. He was already going to be deported after his sentence.

And you have just changed it from arresting violent criminals to protect society, to saving taxpayer money by taking him out of jail.

Has a costing been done ? 2000 agents , put up in hotels, running about with big guns in big trucks, V the cost of keeping someone in jail to punish him and protect society ?

Do you know if Mexico will Jail him to finish his sentence ? Or will he just be set free on Mexican soil ?
