Funeral car driver with blue and green hair

Earlier this week my parents’ NDN had her funeral. Hearse and a funeral car. My DM noticed that the driver of the funeral car- dressed professionally, but he had dyed blue and green hair in a ponytail about 6 inches long This could been seen from under his top hat.

My DM thought his hair wasn’t suitable for funeral work. She would demand an apology if that happened in any of the funerals she arranged herself

I think in certain jobs you have to portray the correct and maybe old fashioned image at work; this then creates confidence in the customer. You do not want the person to bring their inner person to work but their professional one. They should not draw attention to themselves so yes some jobs involve dressing and looking appropriate be it at a funeral, a hospital or an accountants.

I mean…I’ve read people’s explanations on this thread and I suppose I understand what they’re saying to a degree. I disagree but I sort of vaguely understand where they’re coming from.

Quite right. Perhaps the funeral directors should attend the ceremony while completely naked? 👍🏾 "[P]eople can choose to be offended", of course - but please consider the 'personal expression' of members of the 'funeral team'. "Mercifully we live in a free country" 👌
