Should I be worried about what Uber Delivery Man said to me tonight

Hello everyone
I have a Mercedes Car on my driveway but with a Wheel Clamp on it, DD ordered a Delivery with Uber, I answered the door and the Uber Man said to me can I ask you something I said yes then he said is the Wheel Clamp on your Mercedes Car safe I said why are you asking and he said to me just want to know if the Wheel Clamps are safe for security reasons as I want one for my Car.
Just felt very strange for a Uber Delivery Man to ask me if that and I’m now wondering if he wanted to know if he was up to something.

I’m sure he’s seen Wheel Clamps on cars before

I reackon he'll be back tonight to break into your house for the car keys then steal the car.
Or he might just be telling the truth.

If he’s an Uber driver his car is his living. So he asked a perfectly normal question about whether a wheel clamp keeps it safer.

He's not exactly going to give you a heads up if he's planning on robbing you. He probably just wanted a real world recommendation.

There’s always some hapless innocent soul asking a simple question of an MNer who is immediately guilty of kidnap/rape/theft etc. Other crimes are available.

His car is his livelihood, I’ve seen many clamps, never on someone’s drive, it’s not crazy unreasonable for him to ask or wonder about it given the two points above.

If he was a professional car thief he wouldn’t be asking about it. He’d just be nicking it.

We have a wheel clamp on our caravan, I haven't seen one on a car though, a lot of people have steering lock on cars instead. I wouldn't be worried if someone asked us about our wheel clamp

When I read your post, I actually looked up domestic wheel clamps on google to see if you can do this easily. I think most people would be curious and Ive never seen it done before on a drive either
