Couple having sex in front of window

My children’s bedrooms looks out toward a house in the distance that has a bedroom in which looks like a converted loft. They have big floor to ceiling windows and NO curtains.
We were told by my neighbour once that he saw the occupiers there having sex in full view in front of the window - this was during an afternoon.
My husband also witnessed their act just last night when settling the kids to bed. It’s not hard to miss because their light is on and they’re BIG windows. My husband said he saw a lot of detail.
Not to sound prude but I’m really concerned about my children one day seeing them doing it. I have both sons and a daughter and don’t really want to expose them to sex in this way.

I’ve been told I don’t really have much right to complain because it’s within their own home but I am thinking of writing a letter to politely ask if they would be able to get some blinds or curtains installed.
If they ignore it, is there anything else I could do?
What would you do?

Report to police.

No harm in telling the sexy neighbours that they can be seen. Tell them some neighbours have witnessed their intimate displays and relaise that their children might also see through their windows.

I would like the local Police to deliver a message like that - rather than me calling over with a note.
Ask the local Coppers to make a friendly call.

Your husband presumably saw very little as when he realised he hadn’t closed the curtains to put the children to bed for whatever reason he would certainly have done so extremely quickly when he realised what he could see.

If this were us, the same sex partner (ie man speaks to man or woman speaks to woman) would pop over and say politely that they mustn’t realise they can be seen and you don’t want them to be embarrassed in future. Police if it continued after that.

The person who suggested you take photos is out of their mind.

Their windows must be very smeary.

Elsvieta · 02/09/2025 07:23

Sounds like they want people to see. Put a note through the door telling them to get curtains or you'll report them to the police.

My husband said he saw a lot of detail.

*LOL! Whilst clutching his binoculars and furiously wanking.

🤣

You said it's resolved now @doremifaso but half an hour before you said that, you were still having issues. How was it sorted in half an hour? What happened?

Who are these “local coppers” people keep mentioning? Haven’t had any local police around our way in years….

People in glass houses, should lower the blinds before removing trouses.

you should start an only fans and start filming their action And charging for it. Then you can ask them if they want to go 50-50 on the proceeds

Posters who are obsessed with the distance… it’s much less than a mile away. You don’t need binoculars to see. Anyone with decent eyesight can make out what they’re doing without purposefully ‘looking out for it’.

Do you want me to include a map or sketch for further analysis?

Are you new here?

The answer is always yes to a map, a sketch or a diagram
