And how many of those politicians were sent to prison ? An apology juxtaposed with their consistent message and actions for unity and peace is enough.

The name is Northern Ireland. Colonised/occupied! Seriously this is 2025 and until a majority decide otherwise Northern Ireland it will remain. Statements like this only entrench the two communities further.

My mother is from a Catholic / Nationalist community in NI. My dad from the south. I definitely don’t hold any racist or prejudiced views about Irishness because I am 💯 Irish heritage and nothing else . I might be guilty of having an old fashioned view of Irishness . But I visit both north and south and have a home in the Gaeltacht. I genuinely love Ireland and the Irish language .

I know this is broken record stuff but how are they threatening the peace? The suggestion is bonkers from so many angles, that people in NI are so sensitive that a band are going to bring about a return the the troubles where others have failed by actually murdering people or bringing down the government. That that band are advocating for a return to the troubles despite the wealth of evidence to the contrary and your own view that they are not sectarian.
Now your position is that they are stupid (never heard that one before about Irish people) despite all being bilingual, previous career as a qualified teacher, having written plays, been successful and articulate advocates for the Irish language (where many others have failed), developed a successful music career and having a critically acclaimed and award winning film.
