It’s been 2 weeks since I had it, all I can see is a line of filler??

What did the practitioner say about it?

What did the practitioner say about it?

I contacted them to say I wasn’t happy and they said to wait for my review appointment. But I want to know whether I’m being unreasonable/impatient

Filler always look terrible.

JoanCollinsDiva · 14/01/2025 20:50

It's really hard to say without knowing what it looked like before, do you have a before photo?

burberrygodess · 14/01/2025 20:51

Filler always look terrible.

It doesn’t at all. I’ve seen some amazing work.

No it doesn't - done badly it looks terrible and those are the ones you notice. My friend has been having it for a few years and I wouldn't have known unless she told me, it's that subtle.

Why, just why comment?

schoolsoutforever · 14/01/2025 20:52

I can't really work out the photo iwswim. Could you post one from further but blot out identifying details. Completely understand the desire to migitate effects of aging etc.

I can't imagine. It's not like the title is a direct question or anything.

BlondeMamaToBe · 14/01/2025 21:01

Can’t tell from that photo but I’d give it until your review for it to settle. I think it’s a hard place to do filler in the first place.

minipie · 14/01/2025 21:02

Honestly? That does look like a ridge rather than a smooth result. Under eye filler is notoriously difficult and a lot of aestheticians won’t do it.

NarcMindGames · 14/01/2025 21:02

It’s really hard to tell from that close up , also it’s difficult without a before and after picture maybe repost a picture

burberrygodess · 14/01/2025 21:09

Excuse the hair it was wet

That entire bump is just filler. I didn’t have a bump there before.

Is this person a medical professional? I.e dr / nurse / dentist or are they an advance injection practitioner?

JoanCollinsDiva · 14/01/2025 21:12

It maybe needs more time to settle. It does look like a "bump" but you look like you have a very slim face which is maybe causing it to show more. I wouldn't look at you and say "she had filler" though.

Ohhelpicantthinkofaname · 14/01/2025 21:14

You can see a bit of a bump. It might settle. I he ring anything into your face is always a gamble. Like anything it can go wrong.

😂 I’m definitely overweight - but I strangely have quite defined cheekbones.

Under eyes are really difficult to get right, I would only trust a medical professional with it. Worst case scenario get it dissolved (only meds can legally dissolve) and get it redone. Insist on a refund.

EasternStandard · 14/01/2025 21:24

It does look like a raised ridge unfortunately, as if the filler is in the wrong place

Imperrysmum · 14/01/2025 21:26

Yeah I have the exact same line/ridge with mine, been here for 4 years now 😭 was hoping it would go away

LilyRosie23 · 14/01/2025 21:28

Hi, I have under filler done every 18 months to 2 years. I have only once had a bump/ridge like you show. Went back to my practitioner and she dissolved a tiny amount and it went! It's really common to over fill under the eye.

lightsuns · 14/01/2025 21:29

Did you have midface filler at the same time? My Doctor said it's sometimes needed as scaffolding for the under eye filler (not the words she used but you get the idea).

Findingmypurposeinlife · 14/01/2025 21:29

It still looks slightly bruised. I think you need to give it some more time. It's in a very sensitive area and swelling can take a few weeks to go down (depending on the individual)
