To think my under eye filler looks awful?

It’s been 2 weeks since I had it, all I can see is a line of filler??

To think my under eye filler looks awful?

The bitter, middle-aged woman comment was out of order, but I can't blame @burberrygodess for fighting back with barbed comments, after several posters said she looks like she is 60! Amongst other rude and insulting comments (She is in only her 30s, and doesn't look 60 FGS! Nowhere near that!)

And someone said it's because of the 'old face droop' in her face. What the fuck is old face droop? I am in my late 50s and don't have any 'droop' in my face! And the OP doesn't either. What's more, you can only see a bit of her face. So the 'U look so OLD' comments are bullshit.

I don't understand why younger women have fillers personally, although the OP has explained why she does, but it's no-one's business if younger women do have fillers! (Or any age woman!)

If I were you OP, I would report your original post and ask Mumsnet to delete this thread. It's gone pear-shaped, people have turned nasty, and you do NOT look fucking 60! I am sorry (some) people have been so rude to you. Flowers

I hope you get your filler issue sorted soon too. Smile

Erm, that doesnt look very good...im sorry i would look at getting that out so you can go back to looking normal.

Sorry, I haven’t read the all the replies, but @burberrygodess I was wondering if there was no bump before why you can’t just apply concealer to lighten up the dark area? It looks like the blepharoplasty removed any under eye bags, what else can filler do now?

You’re right.

I have requested this to the clinic. They are saying I’m not allowed to have someone different in the clinic dissolve it and it has to be the same person - doubt it makes any difference?? I just want to make sure I actually get a refund.

I'm sorry but I don't know.
I can't see how someone else can't dissolve it.
Maybe there was something in the T&Cs you read and signed?
Is there a delay in seeing the person who did it?

I know that good practitioners always give a mobile number (theirs) and they are available 24/7 (within reason) after any procedure if you have problems because of course sometimes things can go badly wrong (if the filler is in a vein) and it is an emergency .

I’ve never had eye bags. Eye bags are puffy swollen sacks under the eyes. I have never had this. I had a bleph to tighten the loose skin I had due to trauma to the skin.

Concealer isn’t a magic treatment. It doesn’t cover dark circles for thin skin.

I’m not suggesting you do this, wait for your follow up appointment but when I had fillers at the corners of my nose, it wasn’t exactly where I wanted it so I slightly pushed it into place, maybe it is something that you can discuss with the nurse before dissolving it

Ah okay, thank you for explaining. I know what eye bags are because I have huge ones 😁
I hope you are able to get the result you are after! Flowers

Close proximity photos always make the subject look far larger. An example is a mole. If you take a photo of the mole it can look enormous yet it's actually tiny. My thoughts are in reality OP this line of filler probably doesn't look half as bad as you feel it appears. Having said that I hate the idea of injecting anything into my face & hope to grow old accepting my aging face. My inspiration is Judy Dench, still as beautiful today as she was in her youth & her face is completely natural.

Judi comes across as a lovely person although we only know her through her public appearances, but her face bears no resemblance to when she was 30 or even 65 - she's 90 soon. You can't deny she's aged.

You do what suits you, but don't be judgy over women who choose otherwise.

3luckystars · 17/01/2025 08:02

I doubt Judy Dench is completely natural either, if she is, she must be the strongest woman in the business with a will of iron to not give in to a bit of rejuvenation in that industry. I like her too.

It's Judi.

I doubt she's had any work done simply because her face shows her age. There is nothing wrong with that AT ALL and she's a wonderful actress who doesn't need to look younger in order to get work. She was beautiful in her younger years but when you're as good as she is at acting, you're offered parts anyway even at 90.

Oh well if you’d bothered to read the thread you’d know it had f all to do with ageing. And guess what the best thing about filler and botox is that - you don’t have to do it so you really can do you and not judge others.
