I've watched a bit of it over the years.

I was watching a couple of this year's episodes, and I just thought that the trials have gotten so much worse.

Yesterday they had Oti mabuse, one of the contestants, stand in a sarcophagus. They poured sand into it, up to her neck, so her whole body was covered in sand, and she couldn't move at all.

She had a tiny head space for air. Then they filled that head space with giant cockraches, ants and large worms.

I was watching it and thinking,

"When did watching people being completely tortured on TV become acceptable."

Is it not going too far?

They get basic rations of rice and beans. They have medics so I’m sure if their health was being threatened something would be done.

What a shame, hundreds of people go hungry in the UK every day, I’m sure they’ll survive especially with the huge fees they get with being on the show.

It's that torture for entertainment should not be allowed.

What next, choose which contestant to kill, like the Hunger games.

I very much doubt I’m a Celebrity would adopt The Hunger Games mentality. 😂. It’s a game show, do you really think they’re being “tortured” in there? These celebs are being paid £££££ for spending a few weeks in a made up jungle.

The only bit I agree with you with is the live animals. I feel it's cruel to be eating live animals and that's cruel towards the creature not the person doing it.

Regarding everything else, they've signed up to it, they know what is going to happen and there is always a way out - saying I'm a celebrity. It's unfair to people who have actually been tortured to call it that.

"Don't like it, don't watch it" s such a childish inane thing to say. That's already been said love. You don't need to saybit again.

They don't have to do it at all.

There are plenty of people from different countries on MN.

They know what they are getting into for a big pay check.

And your TV comes with other channels available, or, shock horror, an off button.

It is torture and many of the viewers are children.
