It’s not always easy, Laura, but I know you can do it. Yes SEN parenting a battle (wave to @RaspberryBeretxx , have been there with the hair washing - though eventually discovered it was sensory issues about taking shower that was more of an issue so now we do more baths and hair wash is much easier) but I’ve had it easier than many as have been able to access private healthcare for some aspects, and secondary school SENCo is amazing.

As others have said, you’ve made great progress with your eldest, your daughter and youngest are still supportive and want to be with you. They will see the value of the love, support and stability you will provide.

We are all so proud of you on this thread. I literally cannot wait for moving day! It’s so exciting, you have come such a long way.

Navy blue is my best colour so can I bagsy that for book launch please?

@Apolloneuro too late, the vision of pinkness can never be unseen! He was a good sport about it but seemed quite confused by the whole thing. @Ruralretreating definitely - there was clearly not much wriggle room or fresh air in there!

Its Coronation Day!
Are we all ready for it?
Sorry I didn’t reply last night I fell asleep at 7pm! I’ve never fallen asleep at that time and I even missed I’m a celeb. Was it any good?
I’m in tears reading all your lovely comments from last night , thank you, thank you , thank you . You’re all so very special to me and I mean that from the very bottom of my heart .
I have attached this photo because this was where I was at 4/5 weeks ago. This is from the home treatment team who added it to my health record and reading it makes me think that I’ve come so far since then, I remember putting posts up when I was in the taxi just after I’d been made homeless , breaking down multiple times a day and not thinking how I could possibly go on , hanging on to you all on here for encouragement and support. You guys advising me that going to the crisis house would do me good , and it did help massively. Being with me every minute on the day I was made homeless and reading your messages after the police found me and brought me here . Your kindness and help special mention to @tealpoet for booking me in here for 3 nights whilst I was trying to sort out accommodation. Your support and advice the week of that with emailing the MP and speaking to the council . Special thanks to everyone who helped me and to @Apolloneuro for the email draft which helped me immensely. Being excited for me when I got told I could stay here and then finding out I’d got a home , being excited for me when I went to view my home and everything else in between. I’m in happy tears writing this because I’m so very grateful to you all and I’m so honoured to have met such an amazing bunch of women.
5/6 weeks ago I was absolutely at rock bottom , I couldn’t see a way out, the pain psychically hurt to the point I had to curl up into a ball to try and stop it . And now , today I get to start a new life , I get to live again and I get to be a new me and my children can have a happy mum again and that’s all because of you on here that helped lift me back up when I couldn’t stand , wiped my tears away and helped me find strength I never knew I had .
You’re all amazing and you all hold a special place in my heart .
I’ve just spent my last night at the Ritz , I never wanna see a cup a soup or pot noodle ever again nor have to wash my knickers in a sink. I’m going to stay clear of hotels for a while , whilst I’m very thankful I could stay here I’m ready for my new adventure now.
