Something big is coming ...

Help me get a grip!

I have a horrible horrible feeling in my stomach that something big globally is about to kick off. I can't shake the feeling.

I know it's nonsense and I don't believe in all the woo stuff. I don't really believe in premonitions etc.. but I've only had this feeling once before and that was October 6th last year, and obviously things didn't pan out too well after that.

It's really stressing me out.

Please tell me the world will be the same tomorrow as it is today, my feelings last year were just coincidence, and I should just try and ignore this weirdness!

Has anyone had a feeling like before and all has been well?

Anyone know what these feelings are about? ... the science?

Thanks

Sumatriptan. It takes a couple of hours to kick in, but it does work if I take it early enough. I was a bit late getting hold of it yesterday and had gone past the violently vomitting phase before I had it. I have tried a few preventative things (amitriptyline and something beginning with 'T' that's for epilepsy that I've forgotten the name of!) but they didn't really help. I might pop back to the doc as they'd been improving but seems to b getting worse again and yesterday was hell.

Chocolate and lots of screen time for migraine recovery? Not common place but if works for you!

Are you on meds?

Sorry, forgot the quote!

I felt frightened like this when I was teenager in the late 70s and early 80s. Terrified of Russia and nuclear war.
Eventually I talked to my SIL about it. She understood but said we had to carry on as usual with everyday life and focus on those things we could control. In her case it was looking after newborn nephew and he needed feeding whatever was happening in the world.
We had a family occasion last week.
Newborn nephew is now 45, over 6ft tall and with his own family growing up.. SIL is in her 70s and fine.
NO nuclear bomb came after all.
I am now a grandmother. The news can be scary. Try not to listen to it. The media love sensation and blowing things out of proportion
Should the worst happen there is realistically nothing ordinary can do to influence the powers that be.
Don't worry xxxx

Reasonable tbh

Well yes, you only have to watch the evening news to think we are all going to die tomorrow.
I suggest stop watching the news and reading newspapers.

freedohm · 12/11/2024 16:36

Christmas?

mumedu · 12/11/2024 16:38

I hate to break it to you, but it's already kicked off. Genocide and the erosion of democracy, mixed in with women losing rights.

Christmas?

🤣

Irishdragon · 12/11/2024 18:26

@MigraineHangover yes I suffer from migraines

MigraineHangover · 12/11/2024 20:52

Well, I'm still feeling exactly the same! I shall be off to bed in about an hour. I'm going to bed worried. Just hoping that when I wake up tomorrow and go about my day, all will be well! Last time I went to bed with this fear in my stomach, I woke up on October 7th.

Good luck world!

Fingers crossed tomorrow is normal, boring and maybe even good 👍

It does feel like things are but simmering up at the moment I agree but at 41 I've seen these sort of techy moments come and go. Things generally seem to work themselves out somehow and the human race wings it for another day.

My DH had the feeling of impending doom right before his pulmonary embolism. It was one of the signs the doctor asked him. I get it before my chest pains, even when I’m not aware of being stressed Although I must point out that we are both a lot older than you.

Oh that's really interesting. I had a horrendous migraine yesterday (hence username) and was vomitting repeatedly and couldn't leave my bed. I feel physically fine today, barr a sense of being a bit hungover from it (a bit spaced out and minor dull headache) so didn't make a connection, but maybe it's linked somehow. I'll keep an eye on myself physically today.

Thanks for that info.

I was actually about to ask whether it could be related to your username! I have a very noticeable, yet non specific ‘low’ when I am recovering from a migraine. It is very strange and quite unnerving. I find it lifts eventually, until the next time anyway! Hope you feel better soon.

BeyondMyWits · 13/11/2024 07:20

I had a feeling of impending doom before my heart attack, (in 2017) but it was definitely MY personal impending doom. Not "general" doom.

I am into astrology but not mundane astrology as I do not find it at all accurate. Mundane astrologers forecast world themes.

Allegedly we are ripe for an all out nuclear war. If it happens it will be this month of November. So it is being reported by various adtrologers.

Personally although I find individual chart analysis very accurate I have never found mundane astrology accurate. Anyway time will tell!

Hopefully nothing will happen.

Middle East or Europe?

Middle East or Europe?

I am not aware of any regions being specified.

Odds on nothing will happen.

Are you back to normal now?
