in trouble with DIL again

my DIL posts on insta and facebook multiple times a day, always about the baby, baby has been to this class or that event, always happy smily pictures, but they do get annoying after a while.

anyway, i've muted her.. we also have a family chat, and i use this to catch up with things on a regular basis.

i received a message last night asking why i hadn't commented on her post about the fact that baby had chickenpox and that didn't i care about him? i mentioned that i 'must have missed it'...

we'd had a chat on our whats app group earlier that day, and there was no mention of chickenpox there?

so i've had to go to inta, trawl through her many posts and comment! its ridiculous. it seems i can never do right for doing wrong!

AIBU by not commenting on the post?
YANBU she should have simply told me when we chatted earlier in the day?

@Leggyhermit it's right not write and MIL does see the photos!

Hope that helps you and is a lesson not to just jump on other people's posts agreeing with them, without actually checking its correct information first.

You two must have been living under a rock the last year if you don't know who gypsie rose is. Her mother pretended she was ill/ disabled her whole life, then she realised it was all lies and killed her mother. She's recently been released from prison and is doing crazy thing on social media. again... another person who has not read the post! i shall re-iterate just for those late comers to the party.

i purchased an interactive photo frame which everyone has access too, photos of the grandbabies are dropped in there all day everyday, not just those deemed suitable for SM.

i do have another GC who's parents have decided that their child will not appear on SM and they love that they can share photos without worrying.

its not just photo's of the baby thats being shared by DIL. its the 'oh woe is me posts' the 'weve been shopping' the 'which celebrity do you look like' the 'lost dog in ukraine please shares'. its none stop! from morning til night and i muted her because i did not know how to stop my phone from having a fit for 12 hours a day with notifications.

a kind poster has told me what to do, and i have now done it.. and you will be delighted to know that DIL is no longer muted.

so sometimes, it helps to just read a bit further before judging

you will be pleased to know i still agree that within my marriage... not the word MY marrigate there is mens work and womens work. i am happy to clean for my man and my children and he is happy to cut the grass and put diesel in the car. and i still don't see anything wrong with a woman taking a mans name!
