To think that most people pee in the pool, on holiday? Do you?

Just back from a hot holiday. Hotel had a lovely big pool, with a swim up bar serving all manner of cocktails, wine, beer etc. People would be in the pool for hours drinking, chatting etc. Surely everyone is actually peeing in the pool? And do you?

OP posts:

No, never.

Eew, no!! You need to start getting out of the pool to pee in the toilet like a big girl. 🤢

Who are you talking to? OP said she didn’t do this. She was asking if other people did.

Me I think…

I’ve never understood why trolls troll (and I’m not one) but there’s something kind of satisfying about seeing people froth in response to a post.

Yes, I know, see my previous post where I said I’m a horrid person.

Heyhoitsme · 15/05/2024 17:50

Someone pooed in the pool when we were on holiday. The pool was closed for the whole day for cleaning. Hopefully it was a child and not an dirty adult.

Hazey19 · 15/05/2024 17:55

Erm no? Sea sometimes but pool? Never. Not even my kids do that!

StoatofDisarray · 15/05/2024 17:57

WHAT? No! How long does it take to get out, go to the bathroom wash up and come back again? What are you, 6?!

Yes vile disgusting inconsiderate butt holes piss on public holiday pools.

Surely this a wind up!!

Judecb · 15/05/2024 18:17

Yuuuuk!! No! You're not a 2 year old child!

Well, let’s think. Get out of pool, go to sun lounger, dry off a bit, chuck flip flops on, toddle off to the public loo or back to your room, have wee after wrangling wet cossie down, sausage self back into wet cossie, toddle back, ensure towel is in sun to dry, remove shoes, jump back into lovely water.

Or just take ten seconds to literally piss your pants.

(I don’t do it by the way, for I have a bladder of steel, and also it’s gross)

I don't and DC don't either. I would think that most adults and children over a certain age wouldn't. Small children often wear swim diapers anyway.

Swim diapers (nappies) don’t actually hold wee. They aren’t absorbent otherwise they would swell up. So babies wearing those are all peeing in the pool. That’s what the chlorine is for. The nappies hold solids. But if they’re in the water too long they don’t stay solid long.

Coffeemaniac · 15/05/2024 18:48

No never, I use the loo

Coffeemaniac · 15/05/2024 18:48

GracefulGrandma · 15/05/2024 18:52

So disgusting. The reason I don’t wee in the pool is because it’s not a toilet and I look down on those who do. They’re disgusting, antisocial, mingers.

envbeckyc · 15/05/2024 18:55

I don’t wee in a pool or the sea!

Years ago I read about a fish parasite that can is attracted to urine and can burrow into your urethra called the Candiru and crikey it scared me!

As for weeing in the pool, they don’t get emptied at night so the next day you will be swimming in old wee… and so on!

Finally swimming pools are not supposed to smell of chemicals, you can only smell the chemical smell of a pool if the chlorine has reacted with urine!

Dont swim in pools that have an odour because otherwise you are literally swimming in a toilet! Yuk!!! The stronger the smell the more wee in there!

hamsterchump · 15/05/2024 18:57

JL690 · 15/05/2024 15:42

@Bagpuss2022 does it have other chemicals in it that change colour when mixed with pee? 😂

No, because they don't exist.

Anjo2011 · 15/05/2024 18:58

No. Because I have respect for others and self respect. It’s rank.

Redlarge · 15/05/2024 19:06

Definitely not

CantFindMyMarbles · 15/05/2024 19:17

YABU. Don’t be so gross

BrussellRand · 15/05/2024 19:18

Ex-pool technician here, we used to gain at least 15 gallons of liquid per day during peak season, so most of you are lying!

Willmafrockfit · 15/05/2024 19:19

no,
only in the sea

RedRobyn2021 · 15/05/2024 19:20

That's disgusting no never, what am I a baby? Even my 3yo doesn't do that

Ankylo · 15/05/2024 19:22

No, I'd feel weird weeing in the sea too, as it just feels weird to wee when someone could swim into it (unless you're the only one in the area yoy are swimming in the sea).

Or, it is that a lot of people do, but not most people who are here! I'm certainly not lying. Wouldn't wee in the sea either, if there's others around me!

KeepHopeful · 15/05/2024 19:24

Wee carries diseases. This is just gross!
