I have had a shite week, so could do with some smiles and happy things.

So, dog owners, please post pics of your pooches, and tell me a bit about them.
It can be current dogs, or ones that have gone over the bridge. Maybe any from your childhood.

Also, please share a funny or embarrassing tale about them.

Here is mine. She is called Loopy, and is a 13 year old rescue greyhound. She was never raced (I adopted her at 4 months old).
She likes to shake her toys, and often ends up throwing them. She once threw a pair of socks and it hit the back of my sister's head 😂

Let us fill this thread with lovely dog pics and happy memories.

Also, I hope everyone's pooches are coping ok tonight with the fireworks.

This is my girl Maggie, she’s 13 weeks old. We’ve had an interesting 4 weeks, she is learning so much and she’s just ace

This is Pablo. He's a pu x shihzu.
He is almost 5.
He's allergic to everything and scared of his own shadow.
He's a sweet, sweet boy who loves cuddles and belly rubs.
He hates the amazon man and loves bacon.

This is Wolfie. He's a lab X GSD and is thr best. Completely unphased by fireworks thank goodness.

This is Rosita Bonita Osita (Rosie pretty bear)
She is 7 months old. Her bark is much bigger than her body.

She loves everybody.

She insists on wearing a jumper all the time and sleeps under the duvet with her head on my pillow.

Her paw is the same size as the pad of my thumb.

And finally this is Wynnie Elizabeth Donut. A 4 year old pug cross.

She is a sweetheart to me but an absolute bitch to anyone else.

She is a treat fiend and finds any animal on the TV highly offensive.

She sheds like mad and I take her fur sprinkles everywhere with me.

She is my absolute best friend and I love her with all my heart.

Here are my two little girls, they will be a year old later this month. I cried the other day about how much I love them 🙈 I am menopausal, to be fair.

... and this is my little cockapoo doing what she loves best - Flying!

Got her as a 6 month old, all nervous, scared and not trained at all!
She's 2 now and still a bit nervous but forgets all when chasing a ball or in the agility ring!

These two beauties have gone over the rainbow bridge but they were such great girls the best .

This is very outing as this baby is plastered all over my socials, but delurked to take part in this lovely thread. The incorrigible Jess.

And this is latest miss trouble when she was a pup 😍.

We lost our beautiful Izzy ( in the Santa hat) Oct 11th 2023, my heart broke, she was my best girl, she was 13.5 when we said goodbye, we had her from an 8 week old pup. She hated the Santa hat, it was a miracle we managed to get a photo.

Our new girl is Boo, she is a rescue, we’ve had her 6 months, she is 2.5. Timid and shy, but coming out of her shell, she is a gentle soul who just wants to please. My house feels like a home again

Ahhh, greyhounds are the best. This is one of mine, he’s a total knob😂

This is King. He is 18 months old and just had his ear canal removed. He is a rascal, and currently his favourite activity is humping the sofa.

Name changed so very outing. But here’s my lot. Lady mish, who’s an old lady, carzy daisy the collie, and little herm (the ginger one) who we sadly lost a month ago. Still missing her terribly.

This is Tia when she was a pup, she's 13 now and still thinks she is a pup.

Tonight though she is sedated in her crate as she is terrified of fireworks.

This is Bud. He is very unhappy tonight due to the fireworks but normally he is a happy little dude!

I don't have a pic of my current dogs on my new phone, I need to remedy that, but I have a pic of my much missed Tibetan spaniel if that counts.

This is Billy Bobby, also known as Bilbo, politely reminding me that it is 4:30pm and time for first dinner.

I can’t tell you all of the things I love about him as it would take all night! He is scared of the fireworks but trying to keep the whole family safe by rounding us up so he can keep an eye on us 🥰.
