The quilting is not lined up and that makes it look badly made.

I know you name changed etc but why did you keep yourself in the photo? But to the point- price would depend on brand and condition. But generally for a second hand coat no more than 20£

I've cropped out my face. It's on for £20 but as no interest I'm going to reduce to £15 get some better pictures and 'bump' the listing.

SEcondhand? £10. New in TK Maxx, £20.

Couldn’t give a monkey’s for “brands”. It’s not an attractive coat. Looks warm, though.

It's SO warm honestly 🙂

What's it made of?
Who is it made by?

Puffer coats are not all equal !

Probably £5 if it's polyester pasting from Asda.
£100 if recycled down from Patagonia / Arteryx etc

Brand is "His Column"

The outside is nylon and the inside Lining is polyester.

You've got strong competition on there, OP.

😂😂😂 you’ve really posted that exact picture on the website that you’re trying to sell it on?

Chuck it on a hanger and hang it from a door? Get a man to model it? You look so not serious and you can’t actually see any details of the coat. I wouldn’t pay more than £5 for it!

It is, its just the angle.

You’ve got time to turn it into a guy for bonfire night….best use!

Deathwillbebutapause · 03/11/2023 12:22

My husband wouldn't wear this as it's generic scrote wear apparently, but I'd pay a fiver and wear it for walking the dog.

sollenwir · 03/11/2023 12:23

I'd pay not to wear that or to have anyone in my family wear that the way it looks in the pic.......though I might change my view if it didn't look 5 sizes too big - realistically between £5 and £15, though I'd think it would have to be someone who was actually looking for that specific type of coat. Can you model it on someone who it fits, or on a hanger or even flat on a bed or table?

Lilq5 · 03/11/2023 12:23

CantFindTheBeat · 03/11/2023 12:20

It might not be genuine designer though as I have seen things on there that aren't. It's a bit like charity shops you take a chance on whether something is a dupe or the real deal.

Fake replicas also tend to be poor (worse) quality than just a normal puffer like this one.

What do you mean by scrote wear?

Looks cheap I wouldn’t buy it

Stroopwaffels · 03/11/2023 12:24

It's not a brand I'm familiar with. Not a known high street name like Zara or John Lewis, not top end designer like Armani/Prada. If it's not a famous brand people aren't going to be able to have an idea of what it might have cost new, and it won't be a brnad people are specifically searching for.

I have a very similar coat from Zara which I bought BNWT in an Oxfam shop for £15. So £20 for a second hand one is too much.

Cosywintertime · 03/11/2023 12:26

It looks Ludicrous, and cheap due to the way it hangs. It certainly doesn’t look nearly new.

id hang it on a hanger then off a door. Because I don’t think anyone would buy it looking at that pic. Sorry op. Poor marketing.

cocksstrideintheevening · 03/11/2023 12:26

£7, £5 I'd you want it gone quickly.

I'd also delete the listing and relist tomorrow. People will be looking for coats now.

CantFindTheBeat · 03/11/2023 12:27

@Stroopwaffels

The seller has got 50+ positive reviews so I'd take a chance at that price.

But I'm enjoying your entrenched positive support in favour of the generic puffer, so keep up the good work 🤣🤣🤣

Frenchiesgirl · 03/11/2023 12:28

OP, I was so depressed this morning but this has really cheered me up. I can just imagine looking for my husband a coat on vinted and this popping up 🤣. There's nothing wrong with the coat, just needs a man to model it. This is a classic for me. I'm tickled.

Frabbits · 03/11/2023 12:28

I mean, if it's not selling then it's overpriced.

The crappy picture doesn't help though, especially given those long puffer jackets look fucking stupid at the best of times.

MorrisZapp · 03/11/2023 12:28

Don't get anyone to model it. Nobody on ebay wants to see clothes on bodies, they want to see them clearly on hangers or otherwise positioned so all the details can be seen.

Deathwillbebutapause · 03/11/2023 12:29

Lilq5 · 03/11/2023 12:23

What do you mean by scrote wear?

It's his phrase and I think it means "young ne-er-do-well".

I don't mind how it looks but it is the sort of jacket you always find hanging up on the railings at the local park, unclaimed for weeks- nothing special

urbanbuddha · 03/11/2023 12:30

It’s partly the photo and partly the price I think.

Always think “What am I taking a photo of?” The photo posted is of a girl in a coat that’s too big. You just want a photo of the coat. The lighting’s not great and the blinds are distracting.

Put the coat on a hanger.
Place it somewhere with a nice, tidy or blank background.
Make sure the daylight is falling on the coat not into the lens. Don’t use flash.

Try it at £15, but if you get no interest go down to £12.

ChristmasPuddingFace · 03/11/2023 12:31

It's not a well known or classic brand.
And the photo is terrible.

If it was from Unilqo and actual down, bought for £100, it might sell for £25 or so.

I think you'll be lucky to get £10 and then there's postage to add on.

Viviennemary · 03/11/2023 12:33

I wouldn't buy it as I don't like those puffer type coats. The coat is far too big for the person wearing it so that won't help a sale.
