Neighbours chopped down their own trees but

they are now unhappy with the fact they can see the stuff stored down the side of my garage.

So they’ve moved all the stuff to the back of my garage. Without asking me.

I can now see their hideous 1970’s house whereas before I could see fir trees in which the Goldcrests gathered.

I’m toying with what I can put down the side of my garage. What about one of those blow up bendy balloon men they have outside some businesses? I wouldn’t be able to see it.

Was the stuff on your land? If so, I'd move it back.

FOJN · 17/10/2023 16:20

Move your stuff back and tell them not to trespass again. Cheeky fuckers.

ClarkGablesMoustache · 17/10/2023 16:22

Move everything back where it was and tell them to bog off. They can't move your stuff, it's none of their business,

Floralnomad · 17/10/2023 16:23

Move your stuff back

GoingDownLikeBHS · 17/10/2023 16:23

Let us know what they said when you moved it all back and added the wavy Davy thing.

cartagenagina · 17/10/2023 16:24

Definitely move your stuff back.

Cheeky bastards

YireosDodeAver · 17/10/2023 16:28

Move the stuff back where it was definitely. If they wanted their delicate eyes shielded from having to see onto your property they should have thought of that before chopping down the trees. They can put up a fence or plant something else but they don't get to dictate where you keep things on your land.

Outdoor lights. On one of those migraine-inducing fast-flashing settings.

DaftQuestionForToday · 17/10/2023 16:32

Their bodies!!

how the fuck dare they move YOUR stuff on YOUR property.

id have made them move it back!! While telling them to fuck off & asking if they'd like me to involve the police!!

rude bastards!!

GrandHighPoohbah · 17/10/2023 16:32

Three massive wind chimes.

Cumbrianlife · 17/10/2023 16:32

Wind chime the cheeky fuckers to death.

GoingDownLikeBHS · 17/10/2023 16:33

There’s some really good ideas here. Wind chimes AND lights .

CaroleSinger · 17/10/2023 16:33

Just put all your stuff back if it's your land it was on.

Edited because I spell like a 3 year old..

Fissssh · 17/10/2023 16:34

Would it disrupt you if you put large security flood lights on the side of the garage? The ones that come on at night with movement so the foxes and cats set them off?

Osakaflowers · 17/10/2023 16:38

I support windchimes and flashing LED lights
Why on earth do people do this?

Spottywombat · 17/10/2023 16:39

Big fence and lights. On a sensor with a camera, trespass isn't on...

Osakaflowers · 17/10/2023 16:40

Could you have someone paint a really hideous mural on the side of the garage? (providing it's not within your view)

Wordsworse · 17/10/2023 16:41

Oh I’m liking the idea of windchimes.

I’ve put some of it back.

Trouble is , because of where the water butt is, and the great big planter I’ve just purchased into which I am going to plant a Camelia to try and soften the view of their house, I’ll need to walk on their lawn. Fortunately the house is empty for 48 weeks of the year so they won’t notice me.

One of those big (massive) obnoxious signs that say “smile you’re on camera!”

Wordsworse · 17/10/2023 16:42

@Osakaflowers
I was considering painting something rude on the wall. Or maybe hanging a sheet which I could change regularly.

This

Droppit · 17/10/2023 16:55

Do you know why they chopped the trees? I'd be finding more stuff to put down the side. Old broken things ideally.

Jasmin1971 · 17/10/2023 16:56

Definitely move your stuff back. I can't stand people who cut down trees. Maybe some people just hate nature.

Wordsworse · 17/10/2023 17:07
