Topless abroad . Yes or no

Just after everyone's opinions. I'm on an all inclusive holiday . Nothing flash . European destination. Hot sunny . 3*. Would you feel offended if a female sunbathes topless at the pool? Just for context I have done , but put bikini top on to go in pool and her drinks . It's literally just going topless when laying on sunbed . More context age range is babies up to 70+ . Lots of different shapes and weights of people . Lots of bellies make and female and lots of big boobs on men. Like I say this is just for context . Just interested in people's opinions. I'm with my husband on holiday .

Well, not really, because I don't expect to see someone's tits at the pool!
I thought that was more of a beach thing.
I'm not long home from Greece. I did not see one topless person there.
The 'what about men' argument doesn't stack up, not even on Mumsnet. Sorry.

I'd find it a bit odd if someone went topless at a family hotel tbh.

At the beach I would / do but probably wouldn't around a hotel pool.
Don't know why, just never have but wouldn't judge anyone else that did decide to.

I've not come across it much in Scotland either tbh, it could be due to the fact that we often need waterproofs and thermals in the summer though. 😬

I'm proud of my body and I do it for me as I don't want tan lines . I keep expecting the life guard to tell me off 😂

I wouldn't as I'm not that confident but I wouldn't be offended or negatively judge someone else for doing so.

Your body and its up to you what you feel comfortable with. I personally wouldn't at a hotel pool especially if it's a family hotel. Different at an adults only one. I agree it's more expected at the beach than poolside.

That's what I think too. Very interested in others opinions though .

I did also say that I felt maybe it was more a beach thing than a pool thing to go topless, if you look back, however I also wouldn't find it THAT unusual at a pool. As for 'what about men', I didn't make any comment about men so you must be aiming that at another poster. Honestly, so many folk from the UK are so 'funny' about the human body, other Europeans are generally much less concerned about nudity than we are! TBH I wouldn't sunbathe topless but it wouldn't bother me if someone else did it.

I personally have no interest in flashing my tits at a bunch of strangers whilst on holiday, so not something I would do, but I wouldn’t be offended by someone who does.

It’s fairly standard on the beach in most Med beach resorts but not by the pool. So I take my top off on the beach but wouldn’t by the pool.

On serious note, boobs are not comparable. We see them all the time?! Movies, "galas", mags, etc.

I did it around age 20 on holiday once with my boyfriend, I just lay on my back and kind of froze, was not a comfortable experience and I had a fantastic figure back then. I also got followed down the beach by a man (had bikini top back on) after he’d been staring at me the whole time, I was lay with my boyfriend. Awful
experience and I’d never repeat it. I live abroad now and have to say I rarely ever see women topless on the beaches these days, but did lots many years ago, so that’s interesting.
It wouldn’t bother me if you did, but I have to admit in all honesty, when I rarely see women topless, I do think, but why 🤷🏻‍♀️

Standard holiday for us. The only time I haven’t is when we went with friends and their teens who I didn’t want to embarrass.

It’s fine imo. I did it at a hotel pool and I was the only one. If people have an issue with boobs that’s their issue not mine
