How often do you wash your bra??

This afternoon my sister and I were chatting and this came up- she washes her bra's after every wear. I am quite the opposite... my brand's go many many wears between washes and never seem obviously dirty or have any kind of scent.

AIBU and a skanky cow or is she being a clean freak? Just wondering what the general consensus is?

Also to clarify... we had this conversation getting changed at the gym- the only exception to my rule is sports bra's which do get sweaty and are washed after every wear.

After a couple of wears. My bras cost around £80 each and I can't afford enough to be able to wash them every day.

Probably depends on the bra, I'm fairly flat chested so have cheaper M&S bras that just get put in the washing machine with any wash and I have about 12. If I needed a better bra that had to be hand washed and was expensive so I didn't have as many, I would perhaps not wash it as often

Every couple of days for sure, what is the point of every day? I don't even wear a bra every day 😅 I judge it by when it feels dirty. Knickers and sports bras are of course every day, that's totally different.

It varies for me. I’m a nurse and I wear crop top things for work, and wash after every wear (because eeewwwwww…)
When I’m off I wear nice lingerie type ones, and I’ll only wash them after several wears. I swap and change rather than wearing the same one on the trot, so some definitely only get a wash when they need it.
Nice underwired bras are so expensive!! Can’t imagine washing them after every wear- mine don’t get sweaty.

I used to be able to wear them for several wears. However, since menopause and middle age I have sweaty boobs, never ever had them before, must be the force of gravity, and now I can’t go longer than a day and bras irritate me intensely and they make me sweat and itch.

I tend to wear the seamless crop top bras from M&S now. I still sweat but they are much kinder on a heavy bust.

Every couple of weeks. I have small
boobs, I’m not sweaty, and never crossed my mind to wash them more often. They don’t look dirty and don’t smell

So many posters who have matching knickers and bras...

I haven’t worn matching underwear ever (except in the bedroom or a new relationship) and I’m married 30 years this year so a long time ago lol. Everyone I know, even young women have and wear unmatching and less than pristine underwear. Like seriously grey stuff. DD 26 grey, unmatching and strained elastic. DIL, 25, the same. oldest friend, black , always black huge knickers and a bit raggy.

who honestly wears matching underwear everyday? I don’t believe them if they say they do. Maybe one for another thread 😂

After every wear as it has sweat from my armpits. If it didn't then I wouldn't wash it every day.

@TerfTalking - I don't always match but aspire to and when I don't, I try to sort things that go together. I never wear white (reminds me of school), never wear so called nude (it makes my tits look like cardboard!!) and never grey (because it's, err, grey).

Hahaha I'm a proper dirty minger then! 🤣 I live in a hot climate and wash mine whenever! Although I only wear the damn things to work , and the first thing I do when I get home is whip it off (sometimes before shoes 🤣)

I only have 3 bras as I am large chested and they are VERY expensive. I do alternate them daily to allow the elastic to rest and ensure they are well aired between wearings. They get hand washed probably once every 10 days (so 3 or so wears!).

After a good few wears. They can go out of shape if washed too frequently and I can't afford to replace them all the time!!

About every 4 days - unless I'm really sweaty but that's when weather is mega hot not like now!
