How often do you wash your bra??

This afternoon my sister and I were chatting and this came up- she washes her bra's after every wear. I am quite the opposite... my brand's go many many wears between washes and never seem obviously dirty or have any kind of scent.

AIBU and a skanky cow or is she being a clean freak? Just wondering what the general consensus is?

Also to clarify... we had this conversation getting changed at the gym- the only exception to my rule is sports bra's which do get sweaty and are washed after every wear.

Wearing a bra for more than a day is ick

Not every day for me as I don't have that many bras. About every 3 days.

A week but I don't sweat. I also don't have enough bras to change every day.

I sweat a lot under my breasts and old sweat smells and grows bugs.

Hahaha looks like I am a grotbag! But unless I am working out or in a very hot climate I don't really sweat!

Knickers I do indeed wash after every wear.. but I play fast and loose with jumpers bras and jeans!

Every 3/4 days... I thought everyone else did this too? 🫣🫣 for me bras just aren't the same as knickers in that respect...

Wearing a bra for 2 days isn't like wearing knickers at all. You don't have discharge from your boobs and they are not an open part like the vagina. I usually wear my bra a couple of days if it was hot then I would put a fresh one on though.

I don't wear conventional bras I just wear sports bras or bralets or tights crop tops so I change them every day as they're light and I have loads of them.

Normal bras I would probably wash after 1 day or two max if I wore them!

Two or three wears unless it's been a super hot day. In fairness I wear them from 8am to 4pm and the moment I get home they come off so I'm not wearing them for a full day really, and don't do an active job. If I noticed they were discoloured or smelly I'd wash them more often but they're not 🤷
Same goes for jeans and jumpers, and some dresses. Cuts down on washing too so is therefore better for my free time Vs errands balance AND the environment.

4/5 days, it's a stretchy bralet and rarely gets sweaty

After every wear these days, partly because I have more bras and partly because I mostly wear cotton now which absorbs more.

in winter with nylon bras I used to wear them for two or three days, they don’t absorb as easily as cotton so didn’t smell.

On average I probably chuck mine in the wash basket after 4 or 5 days.

Same for me ,every 3 days I less it's boiling hot. Knicks every day obvs.

I wash things when they are either dirty or they smell.
