This is something we currently believe isn't possible, and accelerating up to light speeds or near to them would take a huge amount of energy
But isn’t that tied into our current understanding of inertia? The tic tac thing seems to be ignoring our current theories as it’s able to suddenly jump huge distances in seconds, that also requires a vast amount of energy as does moving at speed and instantly turning at 90 degrees. Like you say, the laws of physics as we know them should rip the craft apart but somehow they’re not applying there. If you take that to the extreme, maybe they have figured out a way to instantly and effortlessly achieve light speed?
And to me, if something is able to completely bypass our understanding of physics, there’s no reason to say they haven’t overcome our understanding of the limitations of light speed too.
And to those taking this all a bit too seriously, lighten up please. It’s just a bit of fun. And I got an A in my gcse physics mock don’t you know
