I like the theory that higher beings can manipulate physical reality.

This is something we currently believe isn't possible, and accelerating up to light speeds or near to them would take a huge amount of energy

But isn’t that tied into our current understanding of inertia? The tic tac thing seems to be ignoring our current theories as it’s able to suddenly jump huge distances in seconds, that also requires a vast amount of energy as does moving at speed and instantly turning at 90 degrees. Like you say, the laws of physics as we know them should rip the craft apart but somehow they’re not applying there. If you take that to the extreme, maybe they have figured out a way to instantly and effortlessly achieve light speed?

And to me, if something is able to completely bypass our understanding of physics, there’s no reason to say they haven’t overcome our understanding of the limitations of light speed too.

And to those taking this all a bit too seriously, lighten up please. It’s just a bit of fun. And I got an A in my gcse physics mock don’t you know Grin

Yes, you are right.

If you could make everything have zero mass, then maybe you could accelerate it to near light speed without the near infinite amount of energy necessary to do so. How you would do that I have no clue. We are still in a state in physics where understanding what mass at a microscopic level actually is is up for some debate.

Something I said about gravity and the ability to manipulate it not being helpful in traveling large distances maybe is not correct either. As you might know general relatively kind of describes the warping of time and space by mass, so maybe if you can control how much mass there is at a particular point in space then you could change the geometry of space in a similar way to curling the piece of paper the ant is on, so maybe there is some link being able to be able to change the amount of mass present at a particular point in space, the ability for objects to change velocity rapidly and intersteller travel.

Lonelycrab · 28/07/2023 12:53

Plus if you can manipulate gravity and mass completely perhaps black holes could be used in some way too. Maybe they’re gateways or portals….

Tawstrong · 28/07/2023 13:42

Or they’re talking about the fifth dimension that we can’t see? Perhaps they have broken through to our dimension?

Apparently the fifth dimension would be rolled up into a tiny, compact loop on the order of 10-33centimeters (that’s hypothetical as it’s not proven but a physics theory).

So ‘they’ could be co-existing here, right now, but on a different plane.

Sounds crazy though!!

The ramifications of speaking openly about potentially who is involved and why would be huge.
There are agendas from people who would use this (whether IFOs exist or not) to create fear amongst everyone to their advantage (terrified people are compliant). Rumours abound that recent disclosures are leading to a fake event to tighten control over people.

You're " controlled" already, they don't need fake aliens .

Oddsockday · 28/07/2023 14:05

Nope I've zero.level of compliance left. And I'm not scared of Aliens. What ever the government order me to do, I will be doing the opposite and take my chances.
Fake Aliens is not a genie they can put back in the box.

Unfortunately if you could "shield" mass from gravity or change the mass of something at will you could possibly also create energy for free which seems to be a big no no in our current understanding of the world.

You can speculate on this sort of stuff endlessly.

I have a bit of an issue because there is a trope around where people say "we know nothing about the universe we are like ants". I don't think this is true at all. I think its often send by people wanting to gain comfort in their own ignorance by believing no one else knows anything either. I think modern science has come up with some incredibly successful theories that predict some things we see to a really high degree of precision.

OTOH there is still a lot we don't know and to say things aren't possible just because they don't fit in with our current theories is being quite closed mind IMO. I don't think our current theories are strong enough to completely rule out things like extra dimensions and faster than light travel because we are still struggling to understand some things about how the universe works. Some things may appear more improbable than others, but that doesn't mean they aren't possible.

This is something that’s discussed in conspiracy circles.
There are a number of people over many years who have declared they have discovered ways to produce free and clean energy, and all have disappeared along with their plans. Tesla was said to be one of them, all his papers were taken by the FBI. (Again, this is discussed in conspiracy circles, take from it what you will!).

Free energy would be a no no amongst world leaders who’s actions benefit the very wealthy above anyone else, so I can well believe that free energy would be blocked in favour of expensive energy that lines the pockets of billionaires.

Lonelycrab · 28/07/2023 14:44

I agree, when you look at the last hundred years or do there has been an explosion in our knowledge and the discoveries at CERN and JWST, Hubble etc have been huge leaps forward. But like was mentioned a few pages back, dark matter and dark energy makes up the majority of the universe (according to our current theories) and we still haven’t really worked out what it is or how to detect it have we? And seeing as these are all parts of the building blocks of how gravity and mass and therefore (I guess) space time behaves, it’s probably fair to say we have a hugely incomplete understanding of how all this ties together still. That’s not to say we haven’t come a long way.

There's a whole thing about humanity being much older than we're told, catastrophic events and advanced civilisations dying out with unknown technologies being lost. But apparently it's all hushed up and artifacts hidden.
Love listening to these kinds of podcasts when I'm working

@bloossomwood this is really interesting. Please can you recommend some podcasts that cover this?

BlueKaftan · 28/07/2023 17:56

I agree with Brian Cox that there is no evidence. I also, instinctively, believe that there are aliens.

There’s no evidence if it’s all hidden away, until a few people have hearings under oath to share what they know.

CatchItDerry · 28/07/2023 18:22

Plenty of UFO experts have died under suspicious circumstances over many decades.

noblegiraffe · 28/07/2023 18:37

I think the existence of this congressional hearing acts as evidence against the existence of a super-powerful group acting to cover-up this stuff, tbh.

Why haven't they bumped off Grusch, or stopped the release of the videos or whatever? If they've had decades of practice of silencing people they've not done a very good job here.

BlueKaftan · 28/07/2023 18:54

I think the sciences and the humanities have to converge and bring about a third overarching theory. We have physics and we have religion and biology. The only thing not proven is religion. But countless cultures have creation stories that largely align. Is there a third science that needs to be unveiled?

Needhelp101 · 26/07/2023 20:24

@TimeToMoveIt , right? A lot of weird things were happening in 2020.
Remember the murder wasps? What ever happened to them?

There was a major plague of locusts too. I remember joking with a colleague about the plagues of old and wondering what was next then lockdown happened. 😢

I think him going to congress has been a clever move, and has been the result of several years of chipping away at the issue by people making FOI requests to get certain things to light, like the tic tac UAPs, which was the start of this. This is also likely why there’s a limit of evidence he can talk about publicly. It has to be handled carefully to allow other whistleblowers to come forward. This is so public and mainstream all of a sudden that it would make it very difficult for him (and others) to be silenced.

Before this the only options to disclose information were niche conference, podcasts and YouTube, and easy enough to dismiss as conspiracy nutjobs preaching to more conspiracy nutjobs.

HaveYouHeardOfARoadAtlas · 28/07/2023 19:53

Currently watching UFOs declassified on Netflix which is very interesting. Talk of how a drip feed about the presence of aliens has started and will increase.

I don’t know about podcasts, but they sound like the TV show ‘Ancient Aliens’. I think it’s on Netflix. Not my cup of tea but you might enjoy.

Boomboom22 · 28/07/2023 22:49

Maybe it's to allow free energy tech to be released without admitting they've known for ages how to do it? So if they say aliens just told us we won't turn on the 1%. Also I've always said to be a one world government you'd need aliens as the out group or it doesn't work. But USA totally or un? Davos new world order?

PToosher · 28/07/2023 23:53

David Grusch went to the Inspector General for the Intelligence community because when he blew the whistle, he suffered severe retaliation.

The best thing he could do for his own safety was to go to the Inspector General and when he presented his evidence, it was deemed credible. And that is precisely why these hearings are taking place.

Tawstrong · 29/07/2023 10:23

1933 - Grausch backs up long standing claims that the first ‘alien’ craft crashed in Italy and is now under US possession.

1933 - physicist Leo Szilard conceived the possibility of self-sustaining nuclear fission reactions, or a nuclear chain reaction.

I can’t believe it myself, but it would sure make a great Dan Brown plot!

Libelula21 · 29/07/2023 13:40

I’ve been thinking around this…

The problem is there’s no evidence now that can be provided thar can’t also be manufactured. So we’ll never get a definitive answer. One physics professor was saying online that the best evidence is radiation, because that’s so hard to fake.

I hadn’t been factoring in how many US politicians are bampots these days. The American mind has been coddled.

There’s no way the hearing hasn’t been stage managed. Something’s up.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not just like putting something into mainstream and social media waters, to analyse the dissemination of unproven information.
