Is there something wrong with how I look?

Straight to the point - I've discovered a group of colleagues are talking about me behind my back and sending each other cartoon drawings of me, saying that I look like a man, look like a drag queen, and that my nickname is Funny Face.

I've been told by a beautician that I have strong features, and an 'image consultant' that I am 'striking'. Whatever that means.

Any thoughts?

They sound immature and thoughtless and the passing notes around is beyond rude and childless with a strong whiff of bullying. If I heard someone described someone as striking or strong featured, I would imagine it to mean attractive and pleasant to look at, my mother always uses this to describe people who were beautiful but in an exotic way ie very dark haired, featured - think strong eyebrows and long eyelashes - I have no idea why!

I would make a formal complaint, it’s degrading and humiliating to make you feel they way you feel, be clear on the facts and examples and put your complaint in writing to HR or the most senior person in your line, skip over the line manager given they are complicit. They HAVE to respond formally.p and tackle this.
