Sorry it absolutely thrills me!!

cocksstrideintheevening · 23/05/2023 13:34

That's not hot it's late spring early summer weather. I'm sick of being cold. I keep thinking back to 2020 and thinking how much more unbearable lockdown would have been if it had been like this year.

EmmaEmerald · 23/05/2023 13:35

Come to London, we haven't had sun for ages

JulieHoney · 23/05/2023 13:35

It’s wonderful, I’m absolutely delighted

LittleHare · 23/05/2023 13:36

I'm in the OP's camp - 18 - 20 degrees all the way here. No more, no less!

FooFighter99 · 23/05/2023 13:36

I'm not built for this weather 😩need to shed 10+ stone and it ain't happening anytime soon Sad

dizzydizzydizzy · 23/05/2023 13:37

Looks lovely to me. I like it best when it is about 23-25.

RandomMess · 23/05/2023 13:37

Come to north Lancashire forecast is to peak at 19 here this week.

LadyKenya · 23/05/2023 13:37

Yabu.

ADHDDDDDDDBOOM · 23/05/2023 13:37

It's not hot here.

However it does fill me with dread. We live in a house which is fucking unbearably hot.
Ive never known anything like it.
It's the one and only thing that will force me to move out of this house as soon as I have the money to do so.

Booklover40 · 23/05/2023 13:38

Yippee!! I can finally break out my new sandals!

TooOldForThisNonsense · 23/05/2023 13:38

Come to Glasgow it’s shite here

just been on the news that it’s cooler for May than in the last 5 years.

Mutabiliss · 23/05/2023 13:39

That's perfect weather, warm and sunny with a breeze. 24 is getting a bit too hot for me but after such a cold Spring it is nice to feel some warmth on the skin.

I can't stand 28 degrees+ and humid, it's hideous. Last summer was horrible, so much heat and no rain.

MadisonAvenue · 23/05/2023 13:41

I’m with you OP. I dread temps higher than 20°. I hate being hot.

DerekFaker · 23/05/2023 13:42

We often get a warm week in May
/early June. It's not really indicative of what Summer is going to be like.

One thing UK weather definitely is, is changeable.

allthewoes · 23/05/2023 13:44

Weather in the UK doesn't work like that.

We often have lovely summery weather in May, then June could be a washout. Enjoy it while it lasts ☀️

TheNoodlesIncident · 23/05/2023 13:45

22 degrees is about my pain threshold, so below that my bones and joints will be aching and my fingers go white and wrinkled.

So no, it doesn't fill me with dread, it makes me happy to see the temperatures climbing again. I like it hot, I feel good and well and pain-free. But I do sympathise if higher or lower temperatures make you feel ill/uncomfortable/wracked with pain. It's not fun to be at the mercy of the weather, however it affects you.

Nellieinthebarn · 23/05/2023 13:47

I dread it, I've got a heart condition and other things wrong with me that mean I cannot really cope physically with being too hot. I'm going to order an air cooler thing of some sort, at least I have solar panels so the sun will be providing the power to cool me down.

megletthesecond · 23/05/2023 13:48

That's not hot.

While we can't have heatwaves due to the damage they cause we can't start thinking 23° is too hot.

Ghgffgh · 23/05/2023 13:48

EmmaEmerald · 23/05/2023 13:35

Might do that checked forecast and it's actually cooler 😆

Come to London, we haven't had sun for ages

I got sunburnt in Dulwich Park two weeks ago!

(Sneaky sun, it was overcast and cold when I left the house, then bright sunshine by 2pm).

Justcallmebebes · 23/05/2023 13:51

Love it. The hotter the better for me

Norugratsatall · 23/05/2023 13:52

Well I'm in the SE and we've not got anything like that for the next ten days or so! Highs of around 18/19° ish so send some this way please!!

countrygirl99 · 23/05/2023 13:52

Bring it on
