Bloody hell, I’ve just watched the new “led by donkeys” video. People like Matt Hancock wanting to work for a fake consultancy firm for obscene amounts of cash.

I cannot tell You how angry MPs make me right now.

I have a relative that is an NHS dr on £14 an hour. She pays for her own travel and parking. All her study… she pays for. She is so busy she sometimes doesn’t eat.

then these idiots earn loads, and then claim back loads of expenses. Disgusting in my opinion. They then get second jobs that pay them £10k a day. Without even checking if company is real first.

In my opinion an mp should only take a second job if it’s in the nhs, army etc or a volunteer job for a registered charity. That’s it. No other reason.

I can’t even process this. I’ve had enough. What on earth can we do to change this? And yes I’ll not be voting Tory at the next election. They are a bunch of posh rich boys that want to just look after themselves. Politics should be more diverse. what on earth can we do?

The Free broadband would have been crap. Where would be the incentive to make it good if we had to pay for it regardless? Most people would have had to fork out for private broadband if they needed it for WFH, wanted to reliably watch Netflix etc.

I pay for broadband and it isn't good. So I am not sure your logic follows.

You are free to change supplier. With government funded broadband we would have all been stuck paying for it regardless.

But you don't really, your core network is still provided by BT/Openreach, a private monopoly, with a few exceptions such as Virgin Media.

Your access to full fibre is 100% down to one company and how well has that worked out?

UK has one of the lowest FF passes of any European country, we are making good progress but a long way to go.

At least a Govt FF network could have been rolled out far faster and then sold off by the Tories the next time they got in.....

Only people who live in Islington have that choice. And he’s up against a Labour candidate next time. That should be an interesting contest.

Thing is, if you want a change and don't vote Labour then you will have five more years of the same. No guarantees with Labour but guaranteed more of the same with the Tories. I'm all for proportional representation personally but for now, I'll take my chances and vote Labour because I can't bear the idea of 5 more years of this.

I know of at least one Tory MP who has been banned from entering the HOC because he is under investigation for sexual offences & the local Tory party still voted him as their representative.

The very sad thing @wellstopdoingitthen is that if you Google 'Labour MPs sexual assault', you'll see a number of names coming up. There are men of all political persuasions who I wouldn't want to be married to. Same thing with corruption - again, problem with both parties. 😪
