Weird things my body does....

Over the past few weeks I've started using a brush to apply powder to my face after foundation. Before I'd just use the pad that comes with the compact.
For some reason using the brush directly in the middle of my forehead creates a reaction that feels like pins being dragged down my head.
I remembered that I had a similar reaction when I had a facial last year that involves brushing something onto my skin.
Also when I eat anything super minty it makes my ears itch.
Anyone else's body do weird things?

I always burp a lot after eating an apple. It's the only food that has this effect on me.

Missingpop · 18/03/2023 19:15

I’m scared to death of heights & my arse puckers like mad when I see anyone doing anything at heights; honest to god it’s so fucking uncomfortable I feel like I’ve got frigging bees buzzing away down there; I now avoid looking at people working at anything above three foot 😂

wellstopdoingitthen · 18/03/2023 19:16

Brushing my hair makes me sneeze. My hairdresser is so used to my quirk that she offers me a tissue before she starts brushing.

Timeturnerplease · 18/03/2023 19:20

When passing a stubborn poo I have to lean back instead of forwards to get it out, like you’re supposed to.

When I go skiing (very infrequently now I’m adult and have to pay for myself) I have an urgent need to have a very large poo every single day about 20 minutes into breakfast. Doesn’t matter if it’s a big breakfast or small, a hotel or a chalet etc. Doesn’t happen any other time.

DM has unusual bowels too, so I’m assuming it’s genetic. Am watching DDs to see if either of them inherit something similar.

BlodynYGog · 18/03/2023 19:25

Apples make me burp, brushing my hair makes me sneeze. The latter is clearly a freako, genetic issue as my aunt and female cousins have the same reaction,

Cotswoldmama · 18/03/2023 19:29

If I eat something really sweet it makes my cheeks hurt

Smilethoughyourheartisaching · 18/03/2023 19:34

Sometimes I feel an itch somewhere on my body and when I scratch it, it moves around and I can’t actually ‘catch ‘ and relieve the itch

youshouldnthaveasked · 18/03/2023 19:35

Eating apples makes my stomach feel empty.

Telibarb · 18/03/2023 19:37

Sounds like formication (that's forMication, speed readers!). I used to get that when going through menopause. It's quite common, apparently.

When brushing my teeth (electric toothbrush), when the brush passes over my right lateral incisor I get a numb/spaced out sensation across my whole head.

Chuck2015 · 18/03/2023 19:50

Eating makes me sneeze and I also sneeze if I get too hungry

I have a lump under my left armpit
Every few months I squeeze it and out pops a perfect ball
It's hard and grey
Within 24 hours the lump is back-I have to let it grow then squeeze it-tgen the cycle continues
I always sneeze when squeezing it-at least twice

You need to film this for sporners' corner 😁

Suzypoo10 · 18/03/2023 20:01

My left eyebrow twitches if I eat fizzy sweets.

NooNooHead1981 · 18/03/2023 20:02

My body is providing me with so many weird things that nobody would think a human body could do... but I have a neurological involuntary movement disorder called tardive dyskinesia that was caused by some prescribed off label antipsychotic, so I don't know if it isn't quite the same as these things on this thread.

I have involuntary tongue movements that look like my tongue is writhing weirdly but it does it by itself. I sometimes grimace, lip smack, and have weird tic type movements or behaviours that can be incredibly odd and utterly irritating. One involved repeating my own phrases words that I said, so I'd sit and repeat the end of a sentence over and over, or I clear my throat through the night which was pretty bad when trying to sleep.

I'll try and upload a Gif of my tongue movements so you can all see, and think about how bizarre i am 😳😅🤣

My 21 year old told me this week that he has this also!

Nicetoseeyou1980 · 17/03/2023 11:08

If something happens that scare me (as in a near miss etc) I get this weird sensation in my arms and hand almost like pins and needles.

Me too. A sudden flash feeling down my arms..I've had it a few times in the car. Unfortunately my fault once or twice but also other bad drivers cutting in and so on.

Movemeforward5 · 18/03/2023 20:16

I get a horrible gas sensation at the base of my head when I eat Gorgonzola cheese or truffles.

Movemeforward5 · 18/03/2023 20:18

I get this - I think it is adrenaline shooting down by arms and legs telling me to run!

PonkyPonky · 18/03/2023 20:20

When I eat bolognese my nose goes bright red!

WingingItFTM · 18/03/2023 20:20

When I’m nervous I get a tingling sensation in my right middle finger. It’s happened for years

ThistleTits · 18/03/2023 20:24

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 17/03/2023 08:26

Whenever I drink two bottles of wine, my head hurts.

🤣🤣🤣

MissingMoominMamma · 18/03/2023 20:26

Unexpected noises make my ears move.

I have a numb, yet itchy patch on my back. If I try to scratch it, I can’t feel it, yet it still itches.

If I lie on my back I get cramp (in my back).

Chenford -- javelin arse, that's a somewhat accurate description!! 🤪
I used to get the feeling like I was carrying weights in/from my vagina when on my periods! Luckily, I don't get those anymore!

Omg I also had the vaginal weights! Any idea what it means?

Eating apples makes my stomach feel empty.

I get that too. The acid from the apple maybe feels like stomach acid?
