People stare at me … why ?

I noticed in the past but more so recently… when I’m out and about I’ll catch men looking directly at me and then they look away when we make eye contact.

on the train/ walking to or from work/ in the office

does this happen to others? I feel so uncomfortable:(

I think it's perfectly normal to catch someone's eye and you/them look away after a moment. Sometimes you smile at each other, sometimes you feel like you've just been caught out, and sometimes you feel like you've caught them out. It's probably more likely that your eyes need to point somewhere and on a train or walking to work hour gaze is inevitably gonna cross at some point.
Have you noticed it more of late then? If so is there anything you've changed about yourself?

A lot of the time I stare into space and accidentally look at someone and then look away! I’d hate for them to think this is because I fancy them! 🤣

Have you got a bogey? Hairy chin? Other reason to make them gawp? If not then you must just be very attractive op. If I see a good looking man I sometimes look at them a second longer than I intend to,,,,human nature. I don't gawp though 😂
