To be getting really pissed off with this

Someone keeps ordering deliveroo food to this house. We haven’t ordered anything and don’t use Deliveroo. It’s been happening every day for the past few weeks, sometimes multiple times a day. I’m starting to get really annoyed. If we are not in/don’t answer the door then the deliveroo driver just leaves it outside right outside in front of the door. Sometimes multiple bags as the orders have been that big. Someone is obviously doing it to us but no idea who. The drivers can’t tell us the phone number of the Deliveroo account that is making these orders due to data protection, I have asked them multiple times when they knock on the door. What do I do? Aibu to be getting really pissed off with this?

This makes no sense as deliveroo requires a code when you order to ensure its the right place.

Is it stuff you can use?

Have you tried speaking to Deliveroo directly? I doubt the drivers could tell you much even if they wanted to.

I’d be eating it

I know. They once ‘messaged’ the person on their app who has placed the order and he just gave the driver the code and then the driver just told me “now he’s messaged me the code I’ll just leave this here as I need to complete other orders to make a living”.

So someone is paying for this, and you have no idea who?

Is it paid for or are you expected to pay on delivery?

Deliveroo requires payment on ordering. Whoever is doing this, it must be costing them a fortune.

Have you checked all your bank accounts to make sure you aren't the ones paying?
If you aren't being charged then more fool whoever is doing this - they must have plenty of money to spare.
Then either way the food, chuck the food or offer it on community groups.

So what's the issue? Just freeze it if it's not what you want or bin it

If it’s free I would be eating it! Deliveroo you have to pay before ordering. Oh and they don’t always ask for a code I’ve only been asked once or twice

What happens to the food? Do you leave it outside and someone picks it up? (I've seen a thread on here where ops house was next to a park and people in the park would use her address to get deliveries and then intercept them on the drive. ) I'd take the food inside and shut the door, then see what happens. If someone turns up you can tell them to stop. If they keep doing it you can refuse to hand it over/not answer the door. That should get the message across.

maybe they think you are hard up or something and trying to secretly provide you with food parcels !
