Teacher vaping in car

I collected my child earlier from school as they had a medical appointment and as I walked back to the car I noticed my child’s piano teacher vaping in her car. There was no one else about but would this bother you?

I personally think teachers should be shot on sight for doing anything other than living saintly lives at all times. In fact, YABU for not having smashed the window and dragged them out of the car yourself!

I second this, you should have smashed the window dragged them out and performed a citizen's arrest.

Peripatetic - I wouldn' think anything of it.

Head Teacher- might look a bit unprofessional if infront of kids.

I see my sons teacher smoking a cigarette every lunch time on my way back from work.... I just wave hello to her.

You’d have had a field day with my DC primary school teacher. I held the door open for someone in a nightclub toilet and it was only Miss Smith. I said ‘OMG Miss Smith’ and she said ‘OMG Laura’s Mum’ and we had a right giggle and a wee dance. Pissed as anything we both were.

You know, I did read an article on this that said some primary school children happened to see their teacher, out of school at the weekend, having a whisky in a pub. The children immediately exploded. Food for thought.

Seriously I couldn’t get worked up about this..nor did I get worked up when I saw my child teacher out on a Saturday night having a glass of wine…I smiled and ignored ffs 🤦‍♀️

I can remember teachers cadging fags from pupils, but they always smoked in the staff room, not in the unofficial smoking area where pupils smoked at break.

Teacher sounds like a normal human being to me, not a viper or devil. I love it when people do legal things in front of precious children. Shows them how to be independent of judgmental idiots.

I hope none of your kids end up with a spliff and vodka at a party when they are 15. Because most of them do.

I saw my children's former head teacher buying whiskey in Morrisons - reported him to the police straight away!

(in reality he also saw me grab a bottle of vodka at the same time - we looked at each other and both said OFSTED? - laughed and off we went)

Not only do I think you should write to the head I also think you should get in touch with your local MP? Is there a safeguarding lead at the school too who you can report to?
Perhaps even make a petition for other parents to sign. If she vapes then she must also do cocaine regularly so I'd also ask school to do a background check on her and her spouse if she has one.

There's a primary school teacher that catches my train. Most mornings I see her having a bag of wotsits and and energy drink at 7.30am. I've tried to find out where she works so I can report her.

Yes, I see a primary school teacher running down my street most mornings drinking a can of coke. He always looks stressed, like he's late for work. It's not a good example at all.
