Mine is set that it comes on if it drops below 13.

What's yours set at?

It's not on at all over night. Comes on in the morning for an hour

rooella · 16/01/2023 21:00

I set it to 16 over night

RenegadeKeeblerElf · 16/01/2023 21:00

Off between about 9pm and 5am. Don't need it if we are all snug under our duvets. I can't set different temperatures for day/night anyway, plus I hate being too hot at night

Xrays · 16/01/2023 21:00

Our thermostat is set to 9.5 which means it never comes on at night (our house never gets that cold).

Hungrycaterpillarsmummy · 16/01/2023 21:01

19!

GreenLeavesRustling · 16/01/2023 21:01

Off
on at 6.30 if below 16

pizzaHeart · 16/01/2023 21:01

20

SeasonsBleatings · 16/01/2023 21:01

14 overnight

Hollyhead · 16/01/2023 21:02

12, it never comes on. Unless you have respiratory issues no one needs heating on overnight. I wear a jumper to bed when it’s cold with 2 blankets it’s lovely.

silverclock222 · 16/01/2023 21:02

5 overnight

KangarooKenny · 16/01/2023 21:02

Mine is off overnight.

watchfulwishes · 16/01/2023 21:02

15, it only comes on if the temp drops really low, most nights it doesn't come on until the morning scheduled time.

Titsywoo · 16/01/2023 21:03

Also 13 so it has never come on. You sleep better when cool.

Who are you to decide who needs heating on or not?!

Dacadactyl · 16/01/2023 21:03

Never ever have had heating on overnight at all.

It goes off at 7pm and comes on again at 8am in the morning.

StellaGibson2022 · 16/01/2023 21:03

19 overnight. I’m in bed and my feet are still freezing with the 15 tog duvet. Cold snap took me by surprise today

ConsuelaHammock · 16/01/2023 21:03

It’s off overnight

My severely autistic child won’t tolerate a duvet and won’t wear multiple layers, he finds it extremely uncomfortable. There are other reasons people need the heating on overnight.
I put it on 16, for his comfort. I personally don’t like it on overnight so I turn our bedroom radiator off.

AuntieMarys · 16/01/2023 21:04

Never on at night. Goes off 7.30pm and I put it on about 3-4pm

Hollyhead · 16/01/2023 21:05

Ok, it was badly phrased @Hungrycaterpillarsmummy but I would consider a waste of money for a significant number of people to have heating coming on in the middle of the night. It’s not something that I’ve ever done or experienced!

Iamblossom · 16/01/2023 21:05

We don't see any need to have our heating on overnight, ever.

DuplicateUserName · 16/01/2023 21:06

Off overnight.

First one up sticks it on for an hour or so. We don't use a timer as we don't always get up at the same time every day.

NewYearNewName2023 · 16/01/2023 21:06

Ours goes off at 10pm and comes on again half an hour before we get up

MrsPnut · 16/01/2023 21:06

Ours is set to 13 overnight, it very rarely comes on but I live in an old house with stone walls and if they get cold then it takes forever to get it warm again.

It’s set to 16 in the day and we light the stove in the evening if it’s cold.

Outfor150 · 16/01/2023 21:06

Ours isn’t on at night ever. It doesn’t matter how cold it gets.
