Having been following the Greta / Tate stuff on a number of different sites (and cheering Greta on so hard!) I see time and time again men (and yes it's men) posting about how if they were allowed their masculinity, Tate wouldn't have the fans but they get told that masculinity is toxic, how it's been taken away from them, how they are an "underclass".

What exactly has been taken away from men?!

As far as I can tell, Tate followers don't like the fact that women will no longer put up with being second class. Won't put up with being harassed or sexually assaulted. Are willing to stand up for themselves and be counted.

Are this section of men really so very weak that they are so threatened by this?

YANBU sad little man! Go Greta!

OlympicProcrastinator · 29/12/2022 10:37

I always find the men who are successful, good looking, powerful, have great relationships with friends and family etc etc are the kindest and most supportive to women. I.E, men who are secure in their masculinity.

It’s generally men who are failing at life who are looking for someone to blame. Usually women. Andrew Tate knows this and has tapped into it. I don’t believe he thinks half of what he says. He understands ‘doom scrolling’ and controversy taps into the weak men he exploits. The same vulnerable, bitter group that buy into the, ‘get rich quick through cryptocurrency’ bollox.

It’s a certain demograph who never enjoyed successful masculinity in the first place. Real men know they haven’t lost a damn thing when women gain.

JusteanBiscuits · 29/12/2022 11:09

Can these men not understand the difference between masculinity and toxic masculinity?! That's what I find so mind exploding. Is it all down to women wanted to be treated fairly?!

I don't know why the nasty little prick is being given so much attention. He waded in on her Twitter space to purposely abuse and provoke her and now hundreds of men are offended because they are claiming she body shamed him by using the phrase "small dick energy".

From some comments I've read and what ive heard from my teen son and his pals is that men admire him because he's a millionaire and teaches young boys how to live with feminism which is trying to wipe out mens rights.

He's a disgustingly dangerous Incel cunt.

OneTC · 29/12/2022 11:17

Her response was hilarious, his counter was cringe worthy. Saw one of his Twitter threads earlier and going by the comments you wouldn't think he has widespread support

SommerTen · 29/12/2022 11:18

To be honest I never heard of him before the Greta spat but I think she gave a good response. He sounds like a Laurence Fox type.

ButterflyOil · 29/12/2022 11:24

The SDE thing is kind of disingenuous because it’s figurative - just like big dick energy. It’s not exactly mature, but it’s a crude way of talking about men who are either secure or not secure in their masculinity.

Maybe it’s wrong to use those phrases but to be fair Tate uses far worse and bangs on about ‘high value’ and bodies and all this stuff so she was basically talking his language. To have people howling it’s body shaming is a bit rich - it’s figurative speech.

JusteanBiscuits · 29/12/2022 11:50

Small Dick Energy isn't body shaming - as it's not about actually having a small dick, but it's about acting like you have to overcompensate for having a small dick! It's criticising behaviour, not body shape. And it was bloody perfect. And his upset was even better.

Cuppasoupmonster · 29/12/2022 11:53

Oh I don’t even care if it is ‘body shaming’. He should be shamed the twat.

ShowOfHands · 29/12/2022 11:55

I'd like to write him off as a disgusting, misogynistic incel but working in a secondary school - where we've had to ban discussion of him - I see firsthand how the idolisation of him is shaping some young men. They aren't mature enough to understand the nuances and the younger students see it as great fun, almost a delicious disobedience, but it takes hold. The older students don't shout his name and laugh, they mutter it and turn their self loathing on their female peers. It's dangerous. He's dangerous.

This spoof response to Tates insane dressing gown cigar smoking response is gold!

I don’t support AT for one second. But I did think GT’s reply was a little disingenuous. I’d have liked to see her use a put down that wasn’t based on playground insults.

MeatWantedToLive · 29/12/2022 12:43

With all the shit GT gets from being vegan, I'm sure she will let his inevitable abuse roll off her back.

TooBigForMyBoots · 29/12/2022 12:43

Greta's reply was perfect. And Jane Godley's tweet was wittier and funnier than Tate's original.😂😂😂

I thought he was banned from the internet ? Out of interest some links to sites where he spouts his stuff would be
Appreciated . I would like to read what he says out of curiosity.

I think given AT’s intellect that’s the only level you can converse with him on.

Strictlyfanoftenyears · 29/12/2022 12:54

Personally, I just thought that clearly she has someone managing her account that replied in that way, not sure she would have thought of that reply.

TooBigForMyBoots · 29/12/2022 13:32

@Strictlyfanoftenyears I think small dick energy is a common insult amongst teenager /YAs. And I have to agree with GT that AT has loads of it, as his initial tweet and response shows.😆

The fact it was a playground insult is what made it funny!!!

I'm in my 40's and SDE has become a favourite (secret!) insult at work at the moment when men have ignored us or asked a less experienced / knowledgeable male colleague what HE thinks!

I didn't know who he was before the Greta tweet went viral (I saw a thread title on here with his name and assumed he was a politician or something!).

She destroyed him, though. And his comeback was painfully pathetic.

It was a perfect insult for the type of person - a fucking insecure twat - that Tate is.

I'm glad he's shown his followers that he's nothing more than a whiny streak of piss in a housecoat.
