Not in a great position with my finances so trying to sell extra bits on vinted to make extra cash for Christmas.
Sold a brand new bottle of perfume and it was delivered on Tuesday.
She was online since then every hour or so and didn't confirm delivery.
A hour before I was due to get funds released she claims it hasn't arrived.
Yodel tracking shows delivered,I have proof of postage,I spoke to yodel customer service who have checked and the drivers sat nav have showed delivery to exact location.
I'm gutted -it's £40 I need
I'm worried vinted will refund her and she has my perfume.
I've forwarded all this to vinted but not hopeful

Buyer hasn't replied to any messages either

Of course it's a scam. But if you have proof you sent it (which you do) then you should get your money, so don't worry about that.

Yes your being scammed she tried to pull a fast one clearly. I hope you get your money back soon if vinted say no that would be appalling especially as its been delivered through the door I'm not sure what else you can do

Well good news she confirmed delivery earlier this morning.
No message or anything just confirmed she had received it.
Last thing I sent was the message saying I was sorry she couldn't find it and I would contact the police and start a theft investigation

My friend recently sold 4 new perfumes. The buyer came back saying "these are not genuine, what are you going to do about it?" I know my friend was very stressed about it. Just saying, there are scammers out there.

Horrible person. Most people are lovely and genuine on there. Has she got any reviews on there or stars? I would award one star. Say took ages to confirm she had received. Glad you finally got your money.

I have over 100 5 star reviews so would hate for her to make people think I'm not a good seller.
I wasn't going to sell again but then I thought why should I let 1 out of over 100 nice people stop me selling bits and bobs

I'm pleased you got a fair outcome OP, the buyer does sound like a scammer. I think you should give an honest review to save other sellers going through what you have though.

I've never used Vinted but have bought lots from eBay over the years. I always check feedback but one negative review from a hundred positive would not put me off the buyer.

Then you need to go to Yodel and get proof of where they left it, if handed to her they should have photo of parcel I'm the open door way. If not then it's their responsibility and I would put in a claim against their insurance as they are responsible for it till they put in on the customers hands.

You can reply to the feedback and explain shat happened on vinted if she does do that.

She might be trying to claim non receipt but did receive it but it won't matter because you'll get your money back from vinted. Happened to me with them once & they're really good with getting it sorted
