I'm being ripped off aren't I?

Not in a great position with my finances so trying to sell extra bits on vinted to make extra cash for Christmas.
Sold a brand new bottle of perfume and it was delivered on Tuesday.
She was online since then every hour or so and didn't confirm delivery.
A hour before I was due to get funds released she claims it hasn't arrived.
Yodel tracking shows delivered,I have proof of postage,I spoke to yodel customer service who have checked and the drivers sat nav have showed delivery to exact location.
I'm gutted -it's £40 I need
I'm worried vinted will refund her and she has my perfume.
I've forwarded all this to vinted but not hopeful

Buyer hasn't replied to any messages either

It's possible that yodel left on doorstep and it got taken.
Your dispute is with yodel. No evidence of delivery, then they need to refund.

The worst thing that will happen is that you both get refunded and if she is scamming she gets it for free but at least you aren’t out of pocket.

Il ask her and let you know -then a day later after her being active constantly doesn't message
Then when I message again asking if she's located it she ignores me

If I had a seller constantly messaging me when I hadn't received an item from them id ignore them and expect vinted to resolve it

If you think she's a scammer then report her to the police, she'll have done this before.
Posting on facebook groups leads you open to slander if she's not.

I use Vinted a lot to buy and sell. Before I buy from anyone I check their feedback.I won’t buy from anyone without any. Obviously you can’t do the same with people buying from me, but so far it has worked well for me and I’ve found ‘vinties’ to be a lovely crowd. Sorry you’ve had this hassle.

I have heard of problems with Vinted but used it myself and all good.

Regardless Yodel are crap. Couriers are taking photos of deliveries even if they go through the letterbox these days. They need to catch on.

And going back to my previous point, my understanding was that perfume was prohibited by Yodel as its a flammable liquid.

Well it was ordered from littlewoods and yodel delivered it so ...

@mrsjackrussell oh really? Thank you for that! I actually don’t know anyone that uses Etsy so couldn’t be sure if it was any good! I will go through it now and see what stuff are being sold and if it can work for me (I know some places only allow small items or the other way round). Ooh I’m excited now 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

Only happened to me once with vinted item never arrived the buyer disputed and we both got refunded from vinted xx she maybe scamming but you have proof posted so vinted won't see you out if pocket xx

The buyer chose the shipping method and bought the label
All I did was use the label she chose
Surely if it wasn't allowed vinted wouldn't let me post it ...

I’m not sure why people are giving you a hard time. This is a known scam.
