I'm slightly skeptical about the 'never been tweaked' face. As I recall, both she and Emma Thompson both made public statements denouncing cosmetic procedures and pledging to age naturally, but it seems like an incredible coincidence that they both show no signs of ageing whatsoever beyond a few laughter lines.

I have concluded (as a 50-something woman) that the definition of what constitutes 'anti-ageing procedures' can be very individual. I think KW brands herself as down to earth and unstarry, but she is indeed a very good actress, and it probably takes a Hollywood A list budget to look that glowingly natural.

I thought that what she did for the family with the energy bill recently was wonderful and watched her interview afterwards.

As an extra I spent some time on a film set with her. She was great fun and very chatty.

I met her briefly once waiting for the loo (just the two of us). She immediately made friendly conversation about my enormous 38 week pregnancy bump and insisted I go first as I ‘must be busting’. Seemed very nice and normal.

I agree with this. She’s very watchable when acting but seemed off on his show.

She has plenty of lines though. Her forehead crinkles up in a completely natural way.

Someone of a critical thinking mindset would queastion why this news story would make the BBC and not try and simp for a millionaire because of a nebulous 'she is nice'

Me too brilliant film. From what I've seen of her on tv going through airports or shopping she's always nice and polite to photographers. Just seems a nice lass.

I like her in A Little Chaos.

I vaguely remember KW getting some stick back in the day for suggesting she was happier being curvy and then losing shit loads of weight. (Suggesting she wasn't really happy at all) I think the press had her for that. She always seems to come across a bit conceited in interviews. Kinda like a female Tom Cruise.

That's terrible of a mother to say about her daughter. Says more about her mother I think.
I think she's great, she's held her hands up and said working with certain actors was a huge mistake, is hilarious in extras and her face moves 😂

Loved that. Kate is very actressy but I've warmed to her over the years. She recently donated £21,000 to a mother of a very disabled child to keep their heating bill down. Self promotion but still

If nothing else, this thread has reminded me to put Mare of Easttown on my Christmas binge-list.

I don't think she's that great. I find there's something unlikeable about her. Mare of Eastown was ok but nothing special.

She was brilliant in Extras, so funny!

She probably just wanted to donate money but the mother told people.

She reminds me a bit of Jennifer Lawrence, huge money and fame but never forget their roots.
