Kate Winslet was absolutely fantastic in Mare of Eastown. One of the best things I've seen on TV

I don't know much about her. I did read she asked to keep in less than complimentary scenes in "Mare of Easttown", because she looked like what her character was... a woman in her 40s. I would probably like to meet her, but she has this way about her that I like, I don't think she panders much to people so why would she want to spend time with me, a woman she doesn't know? I like that though!

I had to Google that to make sure I wasn't misremembering things, but apparently so, rescued Branson's mother from a house fire on Necker Island.

She seems like a nice person but I don't know her! I only really remember her acting from Titanic tbh. Remember her saying she fought very hard to get the role.

Given her level of success in Hollywood she comes across quite down to earth and not too lost in the sauce. Just my observation from watching her on Graham's show. For some reason though it seemed Nadia was doing her best to shrink herself

I rather suspect Katie Price and Kerry Katona's choice of men (numbers 2 and 3 for both were clearly after their money) is as much responsible for the tabloid coverage. Mark Croft was arrested for running a cannabis farm and Alex Reid described the marriage as "his prostitute years".

I love that she had pie and mash in a little pub when she had her first wedding which was at the time she was really famous I think not long after titanic. Was she also in contagion? Sorry if I'm wrong with this one but I remember liking her in this film.

Agree that she's an unbearable luvvie. I have never rated her acting, though I haven't seen her in anything for ages so she might have improved. My recollection of her back in the day was that she was extremely vulgar.
