Sorry it's a harry one

Just getting a bit pissed off with hypocritical people lately and turn on twitter to find it full of harry and Megan, which got me directing my annoyance at hypocrites to Harry.

I did used to love the guy, and no hate from me here, but what I can't understand is:

1. The boy (man?) hates the press apparently, yet is in the media every second of his own choosing

1. He didn't want the press to use Diana for media gains and money making. Now his new netflix documentary appears to be going to do just that, judging by the trailor (which has already exploited Diana for clicks without the documentary even being out yet)

1. The man professes the royal family are all racist, but HE is the one who wore a nazi uniform, black faced himself, and has used racial slurs to many. (I don't think any of the other royals have gone so far as to dress up as a Nazi have they?)

Sorry for doing another Harry and megs thread, but the hypocrisy has really got to me today for some reason! (maybe PMT!)

If you r fed up with Harry threads, feel to coment on what other people you know have done hypocritical things that drive your nuts!! No need to mention Harry or Megan!

Yeah, I agree.

I feel a bit sorry for him. He's completely fallen for Meghan, who IMO is a slightly nutty social climber.

She's had her sights set on the top her whole life, which I have no problem with until she's gone nasty.

It has been suggested by some that she wants to be the most famous person in the world (like Diana?) and is therefore stoking it all up.

The racism thing is a bit of a cheap shot I think. I don't believe it really, but airing all this dirty linen is tasteless.

The royals are an easy target because they never set the record straight but I'd love it if they took her on and issued legal proceedings.

They wisely know it's not worth it and unlikely to make anything better. It will just add fuel to the fire for her benefit.

Half of Prince Philips family were Nazis, most of his sisters were married to Nazis.

I’ve seen this used as a slur against Philip, to indicate he was also a Nazi, when he literally fought in a war against them. It’s crazy

Sadly there are too many ex soldiers in far right groups, in the UK, USA and now we can see after recent events, in Germany.

So I watched 2 episodes. Have one to go. Was a bit 'meh' but quite enjoyed it. Thought it was funny when Megan said she didn't Google Harry but looked at his Instagram feed and fell in love with his love of elephants, or something like that!

Weird the H&M thing, kept thinking about the clothing brand!

Was a bit -wow at the money. I don't think they realise how privileged they are to live in that gorgeous house, with beautiful views, spend time in Africa whenever they please, jet set around the world etc.. they talked of the hardships of the long distance relationship, but neglected to mention they were lucky enough to manage it because they could fly when they pleased and Megan was wealthy enough to just go and stay with Harry for a few months at the start of their relationship. I personally couldmt have afforded the time off work!! 😁

I kept wondering what my documentary might look like! Me and the hubby meeting in a motorway services, no make up! First dates at McDonald's and the like!! Evenings spent in PJ's by the TV, not in a million acre garden with beautiful sunsets!! Kids going crazy on their iPads, rather than beautifully pottering among the chickens!! ;)

The pair of em are getting on my nerves now. They say one thing and do another! I have no time for their constant drama

I can't believe their pointless documentary made evening news headlines.

I was expecting something incendiary, but it's just a rehash of the same vague hints at unconscious racism by the press etc.

Until they announced they were leaving the UK, the tabloid press thought she was wonderful. The negative stuff happened as a result of them going and effectively abandoning royal life here.

This documentary is just a way for them to make a huge amount of money by spinning tiny titbits of disgruntlement and justification into about six hours of extremely boring TV.

I won't be watching.

There is a lot H and M have done that I don’t like but to be fair to Meghan the Daily Mail were writing highly critical, often nasty, articles about her for the last year of them being in the U.K. The Daily Mail were supportive up until a few months after the wedding - although the nearly straight outta Compton headline pre wedding was not on - then they turned on her big time. At the time I thought she and Harry had annoyed them in some way for them to turn on her so severely. I think the papers have agreements with the Royal Family and I would not be surprised M and H did not want to stick to those agreements.
