No. Just no. That was the authorities and social services being completely and totally incompetent at their jobs and were happy to victim blame the girls who came from poor backgrounss. Not everyday people who don’t think POC should be tarred with the same brush

Someone on FB has just shared a post about two child abduction attempts in Carlisle. Doesn’t mention race in the post but the comments section is FULL of people saying “must be the hilltop lot” (referring to a hotel that is housing Afghan and Syrian refugees).

These attempted dog or kid napping stories seem all too common for my liking, yet never reported on the news or current affairs. Filled with drama and typically involving a person of colour. I'm not convinced tbh. Last picture did allude racism. However if this was a true scenario then who knows what a person would say.
