Can this be true?

I don't know the word but the power of certain minds? Is it real?

3 years ago I had a week's horrible unexpected hospital stay. I swelled up so much I took my engagement ring off (not my wedding ring).

When I came home I put it somewhere "safe" as I was still bloated and since then I haven't found it. I'm almost certain it was in the kitchen but to this day I haven't found it.

It's a beautiful ring, not massively expensive (cost £375 18 years ago). It was designed based on Monica's ring from Friends but opposite settings - emerald cut sapphire, with a small diamond either side on a white gold plain band.

Can anyone help me find it please? 🙈 I'm not spiritual but willing to try this ridiculous plea to being my lovely eing back to me.

It’s not in the kitchen. It’s in your bedroom, either in a small pot or in a small drawer. Go back over your journey when you re-entered the house with it. Literally re-live the journey.

Yes, you need to trace your steps. My grandmother lost her engagement, wedding and eternity rings. Everybody scoured the house but they were gone. She was in the early stages of dementia, and had mentioned a long lost relation turning up to visit, so my parents were convinced that someone had been in and taken them.
I was only young, but I got my grandmother to go over what she'd done, minute by minute, and one thing was she'd pulled down the blinds. I found the rings in the tiny gap between the carpet and the wall, as they'd slipped off her finger.
I really hope you find yours.

There is a stack of small white bowls (or could be China cups) you put the ring in there

A small vase on a window ledge near the kitchen
A purse or box near your bed
Inside something with a floral pattern

Good luck OP!

You did put it in the kitchen but then you retrieved it soon after and put it somewhere else. Somewhere in your bedroom. Maybe an old jewellery box?

This one has freaked me out a bit because I'm pretty sure this is what happened. I'm sure it was in the kitchen in the top cupboard and I thought it could easily get knocked into the bin and I moved it. But I can't for the life of me think where and can't quite remember this scenario happening but do think this for some reason...

I found a precious to me ring that I'd lost for several days... Between 2 slices of bread in a bread bag.... We were about to bin it, as we hadn't eaten stuff for days and was mouldy...

My grandad lost his wedding ring for 3 years... He never took it off..

My nan replaced it.

He was turning over the soil ready for planting... And it was under a clod of earth where the cabbages had been harvested before a few years previously!

Have you looked in the filter of both your washing machine and tumble dryer? Niece found her favourite ring in the dryer filter after searching everywhere.
(She'd also had a little word with St Anthony.)

Any luck yet OP?

When i've lost something i can usually ''feel'' the rough vicinity it's in. ie bedroom, shed, ect. I mean that'll be my subconscious probably.

Go to the middle of place you feel most strongly that it is, and stand quiet and still, looking around you. Then calmly go to the places you're drawn to to look. Really look, to the back/underneath/in everything.

Never assume. Cos when it's not where you thought it would be, it means it's somewhere you don't think it'll be. So don't discount anywhere.

While i'm here i must tell a weird thing which happened to DH in his teens:
He was left alone in charge of the house while family away for a week. Never one to be spooked he felt odd one day mid week when he AND the family pet saw a shadow pass across the landing v early one morning. He checked doors. All locked. House silent, no one there. Thought nothing more about it. Bit later walked into the kitchen and there in the centre of the worktop was a chunky gold necklace he'd lost in the house about 18 months previously. It was undone, and coiled around and around perfectly like a snake would lay.
😳

Put a pair of tights over the vacuum nozzle and then run the nozzle under any cupboards, appliances, under the bed, under the sofa, down between the sofa cushions, along where the carpet meets the skirting boards, on top of any cupboards you can’t reach, behind radiators and any pipe work etc.
If your kitchen bin is inside a cupboard, pull the whole thing out and check underneath, behind etc.
Check behind the toilet.
Look in the pockets and feel the linings of any bags, wash bag, dressing gown, pyjamas, slippers, cardigans etc that you might have taken to the hospital.
Look inside any shoes that haven’t been worn for a while.

St Anthony of Padua is the Patron Saint of Lost Things. He has certainly helped me in the past to find stuff when I have prayed to him.

So most likely a pocket. Check clothes you havent worn for a while especially all those little corner jeans pockets. It may have gone through a washing machine too. check filter.

Pockets of whatever you were wearing at the time is a good shout. Or the laundry basket. I'm forever taking rings off and putting them through the wash by accident.

DH once found them on the ground under the washing line.

We’re there any small children around when you lost it? If so, try looking in toy boxes, inside toys, in drawers in their bedroom, under/down the side of their bed, on a barbie’s head like a tiara. Check outside the front door, under the doormat, up against the side of the house, under plants or pots etc in case it got posted through the letterbox by a helpful toddler. Get down to child height and see if there are any other interesting hiding places that you might not notice from adult height.

I'm seeing a dressing gown and a place that you spend a lot of time in. A place or something that is your own.

In an old Colman's mustard tin or something like that. If you put it somewhere safe you may have put it somewhere that was also disguised as something mundane.

My mother put her gold tooth in a safe place before her dental appointment. We had to practically take the house apart before we found it. In a small glass at the back of the sideboard with the "special" sherry glasses that hadn't been used since before my dad died (some 15 years previously..) her hearing aid however appears to be gone for ever.

I was going to say in an egg cup 😁 but now feel at the top of a wardrobe on the right, and something like it being in black fur.. but ignore me, it’s just my imagination.

I was also convinced some poor murdered woman, would be found behind wood panelling on or near a staircase,/ hallway it’s all just my imagination.
