Guys who slide into DM's

I had a guy slide into my DM's twice and whilst this isn't the first guy to or even that bad in what he said, something about this one irked me and I feel like as it's obvious from his profile that he has a long-term partner/wife that I should send a screenshot to her.

YANBU - Send her a screenshot, she deserves to know about his behaviour

What does ‘slide into my DMs’ mean? I guess you mean direct messages but where are they sliding into them from and why ‘sliding’. Sorry just can’t follow you.

All the blokes I have sending me unsolicited DMs (which aren't that many tbf) are just chatting about a mutual hobby, and their partners would be baffled if I screenshotted messages for them 😂

It depends on what was said in the messages. If it’s of a polite and platonic nature then the partner probably wouldn’t want to know as technically he hasn’t crossed a line, although she might think he has other intentions. Personally I wouldn’t want to insert myself in drama though. If you don’t want him speaking to you, either tell him or block him.
