Do you have a memory of floating down the stairs as a child? Someone mentioned it to me earlier and I have the same memory! anyone know what I’m on about?
Am I being unreasonable?

What I mean is, you are either mid way or at the top of the stairs, you deicide to jump it but you don’t fall, you float and reach the bottom slowly.
Apparantly lots of people have this childhood memory?!

I totally understand this! I'm sure I could practically levitate down stairs, really clear memory but make no logical sense.

YES OP whenever I have mentioned this to anyone IRL they have looked at me like I was mad. It is such a vivid memory and I went into the living room and my parents had friends over and I wondered why no one could see me.

I know exactly what you are on about, I would imagine propelling myself off the handrail and then float to the bottom. I still dream about it now.

I used to dream I could float down the stairs. I also used to dream I could fly and levitate in my classroom, but I'm pretty sure none of those things ever actually happened. I have memory of the dreams though and what it felt like!

Don't have this memory at all, but I do remember being stuffed at the bottom of a sleeping bag while my sister was at the top and sliding (ungracefully) down the stairs

OMG yes!! A very vivid dream of standing at the top of the stairs and then stepping off and floating down to the bottom. I can picture my childhood stairs now. It felt so real, I always wanted to have that dream again but never did.

Yes! It was obviously dreams but I have VERY vivid " memories " of floating up and down the stairs with my knees tucked under so my feet were behind on my back. Weird!
