I think the F1 drivers are really attractive guys.

I got really into F1 the last couple of months and am just in time for the new season. When I started learning their names I couldn't help but notice that the guys are all really really fit, which I'm sure now has influenced my viewing lmao. I feel so wrong saying this, some of them are so young. None of them are difficult to look at though! Anyone else think so? Do you think they're attractive?

Hmm, not for me. Just googled the top 10 drivers of 2022 and couldn't see anyone notable. Who were you thinking?

If they didn't have the aura of extreme wealth around them most of them wouldn't get a second glance - I'd go as far as saying most of them are actually quite goofy looking.

I want George's skincare routine though.

I'd not paid much attention to Ocon until the Vanity Fair photo shoot from yesterday, he's a handsome bloke.

I do like Danny Ric, Carlos Sainz could talk to me forever with his beautiful accent and Antonio Giovanazzi was a bit nice as well 😂

Ricciardo, Norris, Hamilton, Sainz and Leclerc mainly. Verstappen doesn't look objectively attractive but I didn't find him too bad to look at either! Grin

But they’re teeny-weeny people. I got up close and personal with an F1 car and the cockpit was the width of my flip phone. It’s bad enough not being able to get a pair of jeans over my knees… but I can usually haul arse into a car!

No. They're mostly very, very slim and often quite short. Not attractive to me.

They're all physically fit which helps a lot, as does the air of wealth and competition. Add to that the fact they they are (especially for photoshoots) primped and prepped a LOT because their looks are important for sponsorship - and it's no secret that looks are part of the consideration when recruiting new drivers for the same reason. The current line up doesn't do much for me, but rewind a few years and I'd agree (I prefer the more rugged look Wink)

I think it's the air of glamour around F1 that lifts their attractiveness. Physically they need to be on the small side, so not attractive to those of us who prefer a more solid rugby player type build!

The majority of them are at least the average height for a British male (being 5’9), although admittedly, there aren’t many in excess of 6ft.

I think Lewis is very good looking. He never used to be but definitely has improved with age.

LeClerc is also attractive. Some of the others are not bad looking but Verstappen is far from attractive (also not a very nice person).

Most of them are pretty short though so in real life I would find that offputting

Well, they are extremely physically fit, and are mostly gazillionaires, it helps.

They aren’t all short. I mean they aren’t giants but short might be pushing it.

Half of the grid is over 5’10 with Ocon, Giovinazzi, Russell and Latifi being 6 foot or over.

They act like overgrown toddlers however.

Back in the day when men were men (said tongue in cheek!) F1 drivers were rather attractive because they were so fearless. You had to be a nutcase in the 70s and 80s to be a F1 driver, lots of untimely demises. They looked like the sort of men who necked a pint, smacked the missus’s arse and then went to dice with death, came home and demanded sex followed by pie and chips. Lewis Hamilton they weren’t.

I was at the Red Bull factory at the weekend and got to look up close at last years RB and specifically the seat that was moulded for Max. To say it's tiny is an understatement, Think `dd's old booster seat was bigger than it.

From memory George Russell is quite tall, around the 6ft mark.

Max will have his off days like anyone else, but I can tell you from first hand knowledge he's extremely pleasant and appreciate of every single person he works with be they at track or in the factory.
Nobody thats worked with Max has ever had a bad word to say about him that I know.

I know! It must hug him, it was extremely small. His helmet is small as well, much smaller than a regular crash helmet and very light.
