to think this vinted seller was rude?

I saw a bag on Vinted and made an offer on it. The seller declined the offer. I messaged the seller 'What price would you accept for the bag?'. She replied saying 'If you don't say hello, I will not sell it to you :)'. Then she blocked me from buying the item. AIBU to think she was rude?

I think she'd decided she didn't want to sell to you, due both ti the fact that she didn't like your lack of hello, and the pointless £1 less dialogue. As the seller, the ball is then in her court as to how she decides to tell you this. She chose to use the opportunity to point out your lack of manners whilst declining the sale. She had no reason to waste further time arguing the Toss about one euro. Her prerogative.

The thing is, I assume OP you used the automated button sending your offer?
It would automatically send a messaging saying -
"Hi! Would you sell this for £2?"

So there was a "hi"? I don't understand.

Do you find this kind of thing often happens to you op? Your responses to posters here are just rude. So, it's safe to assume you're like this with everyone. Businesses won't want to deal with you. Some are in the position of having to suck it up, others (like this lady) are not. I can tell you one thing for sure...you will catch more flies with honey.

Why are people ignoring the fact that Vinted and ebay put the 'Hi' in for you automatically at the start of the message?
Only for automated messages; not personal ones. So if the OP offered €2 instead of €3, it would say ‘Hi - would you sell this for €2?’ Nothing would be added to her follow-up message saying ‘What would you accept?’

Yeah, it 'tells' that I am more focused on the person that started the thread.

Posters have no obligation to reply to anyone just because you feel you must reply to every comment, including double tagging.

She could have, but she felt you were rude, so choose not to, as is her right.

I can't think why she thought that.
