Can’t shake the feeling that something is weird/wrong?

Since the pandemic started really..it’s all seemed strange, some points I’ve convinced myself things are normal, but it’s there deep down bugging me. I just find it all so odd, the pushing of vaccines on young people for incentives, no real discussion being allowed apart from what is presented to us. Is this normal?! Or is it me that’s not 🤷🏻‍♀️Does anyone else feel like this?

@Recessed, can you imagine what those figures would have been without restrictions?

LaraDecouvrie · 06/08/2021 08:43

@Geamhradh those figures would have been much bigger without restrictions: things like car accidents, workplace accidents etc would have been higher too

@EmmaOvary

'I have no problem with people questioning.

I do have a problem with people posting fake bullshit, calling it facts and then either not backing it up at all. Or backing up by saying 'yeah, it's true because says so'.

We should question things, that's been a point I have tried to make all the way through this thread. But questioning and spreading crap are 2 different things.

Op saying she has a feeling something is wrong, is fine. Then she needs to go research, ensure her sources are good sources and then if she still thinks something is wrong she needs to question why that would be.

Even look at the conspiracy theories but question them. And question them properly. What's the end game, who does that benefit. Does it actually benefit the group called 'they'. Does actually even make sense. Where did this theory come from, how was it started and by who?'

100% this.

100%

Nothing wrong with calling out bullshit when people post rubbish they found from research they did on YouTube where so.e discredited prat spouts nonsense. They are asked for links and evidence and then the whataboutery starts and off on a tangent

Exactly. Doesn't fit the minimizing narrative though.

I imagine we will look back in years to come and think what on earth was the over reaction for.

Over-reaction Shock
It's not been fun, and I speak as someone who lost a family member in their 30s.
I've said it once on this thread but it bears repeating - look at the mess that was/still is Brexit. A simple exit by one country from an economic group. How in heaven's name could all the countries on earth unite to perpetrate a false pandemic? And for what reason? To 'control' the popuation doesn't make sense. How are we being controlled?
Your mobile phone already had location data software on it, I believe.
No one's been forced to own a phone or sign up to the apps. Countries are breaking their necks to restart entertainment, shops, businesses and tourism. The monetary cost of the pandemic has been immense. Mosst people's lives will go back to normal relatively quickly by the look f things.
I hope we did learn compliance. Because another pandemic is almost inevitable. I hope it's not worse. You can't really over-react to deadly diseases. I'm so so sorry for people who lived without company, or who lost family without being able to support them or even hold a decent funeral, or who lost their businesses.

The thought of not reacting is far far more horrific.

FullMoonInsomnia · 06/08/2021 22:46

Everyone is being forced to own a phone now. It’s almost impossible to lead a normal life without one. Applications won’t be processed. Etc etc. Every detail of our lives are being harvested by phones. We have no control over it. You have to agree to the privacy rules for every bloody webpage you look at now. No one reads the rules. I find it very scary.

Notcontent · 06/08/2021 22:49

Yes, it’s definitely some sort of plan by governments to exert power over the world population. The vaccine is designed to reduce our life expectancy and solve the problem of over population and old age care costs.

Can you give an example of how this has affected a single person, other than a criminal, in a negative way?
EmmaOvary · 07/08/2021 06:15

The population control thing is such a ridiculous theory. If governments wanted to do that, wouldn't they just let the deadly virus do its worst, rather than killing people with a vaccine?

If you want evidence of shady stuff happening, it's there already, not in the form of conspiracy theories but very much out in the open. If you want to be outraged by governments, get angry at Cummings puppeteering from the shadows, Johnson awarding billion pound contracts to his mates, the slow dismantling of the NHS. These things have or are provably happening, and they are terrifying.

I'm sure these people love conspiracy theorists - they're screaming about all the wrong things and providing a perfect distraction from their dodgy dealings.

If I were a conspiracy theorist, I'd think the conspiracy theorists were part of a conspiracy to get us to ignore the real goings on 🤪🤪

Agreed, Emma. I said this on another thread. Wouldn't they have picked a more virulent disease if population control was the aim? Looking at the statistics, COVID-19 is really a poorly-performed virus. Sure, it's bad, but it doesn't trim population in any meaningful way. It has damaged economies, but this has occurred on a global scale - ie., it hasn't been limited to just a few countries. It is things like this that point to being a naturally-occurring event rather than being engineered.

What application can't be processed through you using a computer instead of of a phone?
FullMoonInsomnia · 07/08/2021 11:39

You need to give a mobile phone numbers for many things now. Unless you have one you can't proceed.

IntothePitt · 09/08/2021 17:58

Better to be a satanist than a homophobic fundamentalist Christian.

Can you give an example?

Because every form I have every filled in accepted a home telephone number. Unless they were asking specifically so they can send a text. In which case a basic mobile phone would do. Or opt out of having the text sent.

What, specifically, have you not been able to apply for if you don't have a mobile phone?

FullMoonInsomnia · 09/08/2021 18:17

Really? Have you met a Satanist?

IntothePitt · 09/08/2021 18:21

Yes
Hekatestorch · 09/08/2021 18:22

Really? Have you met a Satanist?
Yes, several different kinds.

Have you? Which kind? Which teachings did they follow? Which path?

Hekatestorch · 10/08/2021 12:37

Why do posters keep coming to this thread making random statements, presenting them as facts, then disappearing when you ask for examples. Or where they got their facts from?

If you are so sure you are right, why can't it stand up to questioning?

Im guessing you read a lot of social media. I don't touch it and never have, hence don't think of these weird ideas. Do what I do and limit yourself to medical journals and medical reports only. Then everything seems far more explainable.
Polkadots2021 · 10/08/2021 13:33

Also the no real discussion allowed - what do you mean? People discuss all this endlessly.

Acarp · 10/08/2021 16:30

@ZednotZee

But what if I want no part of his love as I don't want to be part of his world? Does my consent not come into it? I don't want some random blokes love.

At the end of the world, when there is no physical realm I don't believe that you would not accept objective reality, that God is the divine creator if this was blindingly obvious to you.

You can disagree with me of course but I don't believe that you will. There would be no logical reason for you, as a good person to do so.

I believe that at the end of days there is good, there is evil and there is no third way.

As a good person you will go to heaven and have eternal life because you will accept your true nature and the genesis of creation.

Jesus will not be 'some random bloke' he will be showing up as your saviour.

I can understand that as a non believer its difficult to accept but that is simply human ego and we all fall foul of this from time to time but experiencing the divine includes the loss of ego.

I will never worship any God under any circumstances.

This bit was my favourite. Saying that believing that you are right and everyone who doesn't agree is wrong....but will eventually accept you are right, is egotistical, its unreal.
