Sorry everyone I didn't post a new thread last night but I was a bit freaked out by the comment about finding me online at the end.

Anyway as the world's most boring update it is still here but someone is coming round about lunchtime to pick it up.

I rang 101 and reported it and that I was concerned they'd essentially vanished. They said there wasn't anything they could do about the car as its on private land but I could be liable for any damage if I moved it and that they would check on the registered owner.

I posted it on a couple of the local Facebook groups last night saying
"Anyone know whose cat this is? Please get them to contact me urgently on xxxx as itll be being towed tomorrow"

I had a response from the guys DS and she said she'd contact him and get him ring me. He hasn't rang me but she messaged me back to say he'd collect it at lunchtime if that was OK. I've said fine but we going out at at 2 so if he's not here before then he won't be able to get it till we get back later.

And that's it really.

I suspect as others have suggested that the 'sister' was a hoax.

@BlueEyesWhiteDragon you should reply on the Facebook message where he is tagged that the owner has called you and is collecting the car at 9pm. See if he panics and comes running!

If he’s been tagged on Facebook I’d be tempted to post hourly updates to say “Your car is still on my land”. All his friends and family, as well as other locals, will see what a CF he is and it might shame him into actually doing something.
