I’m getting fed up of this now! What have you booked and are you expecting to go?

We are considering a holiday rental but don’t want to get our hopes up. Also don’t particularly want to be on a mobbed beach if we have a hot summer!

None whatsoever! But will probably go for a last minute "escape" in September.

vodkaredbullgirl · 05/02/2021 20:23

No, but would like to see my elderly parents, who I've not seen since Oct 2019. They life far away, near to my sister who i'd like to see too.

SavageBeauty73 · 05/02/2021 20:23

None!

HmmSureJan · 05/02/2021 20:24

I've booked a cottage the first week of June.

Also tentatively look for Spain flights for October half term.

isseys4xmastinselcats · 05/02/2021 20:24

yes have booked one week in a holiday cottage in the highlands of Scotland for the end of August hopefully will be able to go

DazedandConcerned · 05/02/2021 20:24

I’ve got Egypt booked in May, July, September and December.

Hoping they’ll all go. Unlikely they will, but at least there are all booked I guess.

Nutrigrainygoodness · 05/02/2021 20:24

We have decided we aren't going abroad this year. I think the prices will fly up, and I don't want to book something to have it cancelled.

But we are going to have some weekends away, we were meant to be in Edinburgh between Xmas and New year. So hopefully we will get there this year.

ghostyslovesheets · 05/02/2021 20:25

Booked 10 days in Italy in August - Eurotunnel - driving through France - 2 night in a hotel each way - all fully refundable - so if needs be I'll postpone

Managed 10 days in the South Of France last year - came home 4 days before they introduced the quarantine

WonkyCactus · 05/02/2021 20:25

Absolutely none. I nearly booked flights for a European city break in October but then I started thinking about vaccines and quarantine periods and all the other unknowns and decided it wasn't worth it!

TwinkleMerrick · 05/02/2021 20:25

I've booked haven in April but it has a covid guarantee, that sounds like your hair enters to get covid Grin actually means if i can't go due to covid I can rearrange of get a full refund.

Also booked a break near Scarborough for August in a holiday home, fingers crossed by then things should have calmed down enough to have a staycation at least.

I'm looking forward to both, I need a break from all this lockdown drudgery xx

daisypond · 05/02/2021 20:26

None. And we didn’t have a holiday last year either.

HavfrueDenizKisi · 05/02/2021 20:27

Booked a uk cottage for April (not sure this will happen); last year's French villa rescheduled for July (pretty convinced this won't happen and will be rescheduled again); booked a week glamping in August (fairly hopeful for this one).

bruisedbutnotbeaten · 05/02/2021 20:28

Cottage, Northumberland, October. Can't wait!!

thenightsky · 05/02/2021 20:28

Got Cape Verde booked for November, after moving it twice already.

@DazedandConcerned I'm desperate to get my head under the Red Sea and thinking May, but worried about having to quarantine on return. Something makes me think I've talked to you about scuba/snorkelling in Red Sea previously Grin

Clearly I can not type tonight!

We have a few things that are rolled over from last year - a glamping trip with friends, a big birthday party camping trip, a couple of nights in the lakes and a music festival. Not sure which of those will happen. We haven’t booked anything new this year. We have access to a family holiday home on the coast and suspect we will use that a couple of times as it will be easier to manage uncertainty. I would give my right arm for a hot sunny holiday but I don’t think we will be having one this year.

Lulaloo · 05/02/2021 20:30

We have booked a cottage in West Country for May ( rebooked from last year) and a cottage in Wales for the summer.

LagunaBubbles · 05/02/2021 20:30

Eurocamp transferred our holiday to Italy that obviously we couldn't go on from last year to this July, now I don't see it happening either.

user1493413286 · 05/02/2021 20:30

Holiday house in Devon with my wider family; we had booked it for last year then changed the booking so will see if it’ll go ahead

bloodyhairy · 05/02/2021 20:30

Greece in July Confused

Mumofsend · 05/02/2021 20:30

France booked in August. Transfer from last year! Very 5050 on if it will happen. We also drive rather than fly

FiveGoMadInDorset · 05/02/2021 20:30

Four nights with 2 other families in August in a holiday rental, checked cancellation policy before we booked

MrsExpo · 05/02/2021 20:30

A cottage in Devon, last week in April. DH now has his second Covid jab that week ..... great!!!! Might have to cancel.

BonnieDundee · 05/02/2021 20:31

Two abroad, June and October. June is certainly going to be cancelled and I'm not hopeful for October either but you never know (desperately holding on to hope)

Squirrelblanket · 05/02/2021 20:31

I have Greece booked for May and a weekend in Spain booked for June. Both were holidays booked for last year and moved to this. I have no idea whether they will go ahead. 🙄
